I too was more on skaterxl site but i play only on console and session is much better because you don't need any mods.. but i play skater xl too from time to time and they will drop a huge update finally.. the problem with skater xl for me is that there are huge gaps between updates where nothing happens and you have to wait.. session is not getting boring so fast because the map is massive and skater xl only have a view maps and the most of these maps are small.. if they would drop a stats menu for skater xl like session has it would be a completly different game on console..i don't understand why they don't release a stats menu.. and the other thing with session is that the developers really listen to their community and really care about what the community wants.. and the skater xl devs don't give a shit aboit anything and do what they want.. that's the reason why almost nobody plays skater xl now anymore.. it is sad and a shame man because this game has so much potential
@@9doublem28 it did. I also love the skate brands they chose and Interpol is one of my favorite bands. Unfortunately the game isn't a polished at session on console. And the tricks feel WAY better on session. I was just playing a moment ago

After switching from Skater XL to Session,i havent looked back.I need those Chris Cole trucks.I never really did impossibles so am trying to do it more often.I learned switch impossibles the other night. Am playing on PS5 so i really hope its early March. One of the early things i did was buy every single deck.I'll instantly know when theres new decks added and the Tensors are new
I think there is more tinkering they did under the hood with the physics than they are letting on. It feels better imo. It still has a lot of work needed, but all in all I’m still riding for Creature.
The fakie impossible looks class. This was the 1.0 we should have got. But a few updated planned for the next couple months and a DLC. And with SXL grab update next week, it’s a good time for skate games

Could you please reply skate 3 carrer mode on the hardest difficulty and just do everything in the career mode on the hardest difficulty and 100 percent the career mode on the hardest difficulty setting no speed running or glitches or skipping stuff allowed at all k only different make the video way longer on youtube k

No real true customization of your character no unlockables or exclusives to work towards no real story to the game or nothing that keeps you truly interested from a gamers point of view not a gameplay point of view becuase I love the gameplay but it’s lacking depth big time

Hooray, the game's finally in the state it should have launched in and or the state it should have been in December. I'm busting their balls a bit, but i'm actually super stoked my favorite trick (Bigspin impossible) is mostly fixed. Hopefully whatever staffing issues Crea-Ture are having get resolved and they can port the game to UE5 with new animations by the end of the year
@@rendzen3586 I'm not sure what your point is. Skater XL took nearly half the time Session did to reach a "1.0" state and Easy Day, up until recently, have been happy with the state they left the game in. By all means, it's a finished game, just not one that's aged well without mods.

Nice :D SXL 1.0 - no stats menu - floaty - buggy - ps3 graphics - 0 story missions - unrealistic ollies by using only 1 foot - allows unrealistic speeds, angles etc before grinds/ slides - have to be modded to ble playable

"Requiring" mods doesn't mean the game isn't finished. The experience Easy Day set out to make was completed in 2020. The fans wanted more, so they made more. I have 36 hours in Skater XL and 204 hours in Session, both since before they launched, and i've made 19 videos on Session but only 3 on Skater XL. My bias is clearly in favor of Session. I give Crea-Ture studios a hard time because the game could be more than it is if they got their priorities straight and hired a lead developer and an animator as opposed to adding new brands and skaters.

Pretty ho hum update. They gotta roll out more content over the year if Nacon and Creature wants to compete against Skate 4. I hate the mechanics in Skate, but I'll be playing it more if they can offer a wider selection of apparel (mainly the shoes).
You are delusional if you think Nacon or Creature think they can compete with Skate. More people play Skate 3 than Session and XL combined. Session heads are so far from understanding how Creature are not in the best situation. They lost 2 animators in 6 months and as you said, ho hum updates is all they have and tbh this all and more should have been in 1.0.

Even if EA manages to release a game that's not ridden with bugs, they will find a way to hamfist predatory bullshit that harms consumers into the game. I do understand that tards will play a broke game over a high quality game based on brand recognition, but with how reactionary the gamers are now, they'll seek out alternatives to bad games. Session and SXL are modern backups in the event Skate 4 is shit.

All of us have been saying this on console. I played XL for a year. I regret it compared to how smooth this game plays.

The major change was the tutorial. If i get it, the update was divided by 3 small updates, feb, march and april

There's a bug in this update where the impact sound when you start a grind doesn't play, that's why it sounds weird. They'll probably fix it soon.
