- Birkenstock Boston has made a wave in the fashion industry as of 2020. I finally gave into the hype and purchased a pair of them. In this video, I evaluate why people like them in the first place and if they are here to stay or just a weird fad.

Maybe it's late, and you already bought a new pair, but Birkenstocks are easy to repair. Many cobblers do it.

I’ve been wearing Birkenstocks since I was like 15yo and I’m 40yo now and I’ve had a pair of Arizona sandals almost every decade. More women used to wear the Boston’s when I was younger but I just ordered a pair of those and Kyoto this year so I mean I’ll keep two pair until I die Most likely 🤷🏽♂️… they’re essential

Trends aren’t the same as fashion. Trends come and go as fast as they come. Fashion is timeless, and about having good style regardless of whatever trend.

I just brought that exact shoe, I love them.
I've been wearing my Boston's since 1988.
Still have my Tokyos since 1999. No complaints. Bottomline, if you're happy then who da fuck cares about what people think. Just look at their "CROCS" and smile at them.
The real mccoy copies are pretty cool, the material on those is on a whole different level.

I bought this color and I hate it so much and I’m waiting for mink oil to come in to try to darken them with oil.
What ones did you get?
I want to buy one but my concern is how is it if it's rainy season? also, is it hard to clean? I am planning to use it as my daily/go to shoes.
My concern is: are they good for winter time? Do they keep your feet warm? I’m planning to buy em but I’m not quite sure about them
Edit: I live in Southern Italy so it’s a mild climate most of the time
no sandals are not good for winter. get boots
With nice wool socks!!! It’s my favorite!, and so easy to slip on and off!
They are kind of made to wear inside the house.
@@KeepChessSimple they arent made to be worn in the house, they are for walking outside. but not in rough conditions.
@@hunderskunder2596 Walking in clogs like these outside is only something of recent years. Back in the day people used them mainly for inside and around the house. It is trendy now so ofcourse they market them as an outside shoe to sell more.
