This is so intense. I love Michael banging on the side of the silo. And at first I thought I was hearing a slide guitar, then realized it was Mike vocalizing. Holy crap. The whole thing is absolutely stunning.
I like this version better then that's on the record. As a hardcore R.E.M. fan- this song has a bunch of references or name checks of their past songs or covers. I picked up on these songs: "Electron Blue", Losing My Religion" "Feeling Gravity's Pull", "Crush with Eyeliner", "Hi speed Train", "Its the end of the world..." "The one I Love", "I'll take the rain" "First We Take Manhattan", "Crazy", "(All I have to do is) Dream"
years pass, but this continues being SUBLIME. Pity only a few os us noticed. This version is so real and raw.
The final two REM albums were far better than radio and reviews gave credit.
I have and always will love REM.
@@jeffball6656 Absolutely, I didn't really understand a lot of the criticism.
This is so incredibly beautiful, I can hardly stop listening. Thank you.
I've NEVER in my life heard this song before... If its about 10 years old wouldn't it have way more views??? And more than 7 comments???

I don't usually like it when artists refer to themselves, but I do love this song.
At 5:23 Bill Riflin starts picking up sticks from the ground and breaking them . I can barely hear what this is supposed to sound like.
Une rareté
Jesus!!!
