I found your church videos here on UA-cam not long ago. I love watching your videos. I take notes just like I do as if I was at my church. I learn so much from your videos . I watched part 1 and 2 of this series . To me this was just common sense . My kids are grown now . I love them so much !!! And my grandchildren too !!! I thought of a couple of people as I watched these videos . My sister is one of them . She and I are like day and night . We are so different !! When our children were growing up.... she and I got into so many arguments, because she use to cuss her kids . She had all sons and their dad wasn't in their lives that much . It was always so sad when they were growing up, because they wanted to be apart of their dad's life so bad . Then a few years ago their dad passed away . My mom would feel sorry for them and she raised them . My mom is disabled now and she is still raising my 50 yr old sister and her 3 grown son's . They are going down the wrong path in life . I've tried to talk to them about things . Sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesn't . They don't know how to be men . My mom has babied them their whole lives. I've told them .... wouldn't it be nice to get out of here and live your own lives instead of sitting around waiting on your grandmother's monthly check ? It's so depressing for them , but they don't know any better, because they've never been taught any better . I remember when they were teenagers and my mom told me that they didn't believe in God anymore. I had a fit !! I said, mom......!! You better help them with that !! I knew she wouldn't so I started helping them with this problem every chance I get . Just the other day I told my oldest nephew. ..... I said , Blake you know that if you will get right with God , one day you'll see your dad again in Heaven ? Plus your brother's will follow you too . He said , I know aunt Bonnie . It was just because I was hanging out with the wrong crowd. I need to change my life . He said, I do want to see my dad again in Heaven. We talked a good bit more about Jesus . I pray for my nephew's and that they all will go back to God and let him help them . In Jesus' name I pray. Amen

    Both my parents were Marines.
God bless them for their service, but it took me years, and still a work in progress to undo the control type parenting I was raised with.

I usually work nightshift at a hospital counselling victims of sexual assault and gender-based violence. So, when I get home, the only thing I'm thinking about is to just sleep it all off. My son always knows when I get home, whether I use the car or public transport, but as soon as I come into the door, the first thing I hear is, "Mommy!!!". Sometimes, I do have to admit, that is the last thing that I want to hear because it means that I'm going to have to give him all the attention but I am just exhausted.
One time, a few weeks ago, I was asleep and suddenly I heard, "Mommy..." It just hit me - I'm a mom! There's one person in this whole wide world who calls ME by that title - Mommy. And it is not just about position but about love, respect and trust. What a miracle that this small being also has me and my parents and my grandparent and my great-grandparent inside his massive gene pool and those qualities are expressing themselves, even in his personality - he's exactly like my brother when my brother was a child, he's an emotional being like I am, he is stubborn like my sister and my mother, and he gets a serious expression like my dad.

Rick Warren is a false teacher who teaches false doctrine, he may seem right sometimes, but don't be fooled. He welcomed women pastors in his church (contradicts 1 Timothy 2:11-12), excluded sin, repentance, and wrath (from God) in his book "The Purpose Driven Life" (contradicts the Great Commission), and he even learned about Islam from his neighbor and prayed in the name of a false god in 2008 during a talk with Barack Obama (contradicts 2 Corinthians 6:14-18, 1 John 5:21 and other countless passages that condemn idol worship) to name a few things. Jesus said "Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves, by their fruits you shall know them". We are sinners who deserve God's wrath and judgment in the lake of fire because of our sin and rebellion, God is holy, just, and righteous and will punish all sin, but Jesus came to die for our sins on the cross, taking the punishment we deserved and died in our place, and then He rose from the dead by the power of God the Father. If we accept this and confess and renounce our sins to God, ask for His forgiveness, and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, surrendering and committing ourselves fully to Him or as He said, "deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Me" (Luke 9:23), you will, by God's grace only, be saved. Read and study the Bible and use it to test teachers to see if they are biblically accurate (1 John 4:1), pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17 and Ephesians 6:18), live by the guidance of the Holy Spirit (John 16:13-14), and share the Gospel with others in the power of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19-20 and Acts 1:8). Don't watch Rick Warren, he is a false teacher, remember, just because they appear good doesn't mean it is who they are inside, make sure their actions match what they claim. Expose false teachers for who they are (Matthew 23:1-36). Motivation doesn't make up for lack of truth. If you read 2 John 1:10-11, you will read that if you support, encourage, praise, or welcome a false teacher, you are participating in their evil work, so don't watch Rick Warren or support him anymore. You can also pray to God about this if you are saved, and wait for His response, if you aren't saved, confess your sins to God, ask for His forgiveness and for Him to turn you away from them and to Him, submit and surrender every single part (even the ones hard to give up, but ask Him to help and He will) of your life to Him, and commit the rest of your life to following Him, reading, meditating on, and applying His Word (the Bible) to your life daily, and sharing the Gospel with those around you all with the help and through the power of the Holy Spirit regardless of the cost, even if it means death.
