I've been on a FMM marathon. there is some magical nostalgia of visiting the flea market as a kid and seeing ALL the NES, N64, and PS1 games just laid out. I loved looking at every games cover art and wondering "What the hell is this?" as a kid you can't tell a good game from a bad game, and I didn't have internet at the time so I would just wonder about all the games I was missing out on. golden memories of picking up Battle Tanx for the 64 and Spyro for the PS1, can't forget super Mario world either. just a beautiful time to be a child, and a shit time to not have any money.
My physics teacher once went to a flea market and saw a bunch of working virtual boys selling for like $25 each, so he bought all of them and sold all of them besides one for his lessons, for $125 each.(since i was the first to actually know what the console was, he let me play it till my eyes started hurting).
Same thing in my country. It's quite rare to even see PS1 games for sale anymore so these flea markets where Pat goes would be heaven for me, there's so much stuff for grabs.
Pat pulled the same trick he got after Wario reseller about on a different episode. Bought that GBC without mentioning the pokemon game. I see what youre up to Pat
That´s not the point. The point is, that in a later episode, Pat is seeing a reseller he calls Wario, trying to do the same trick and gets very angry about him trying to do that!
Wtf is this thread, it's not like Pat put the game in there and didn't tell the guy, he was selling it like that he doesn't have to tell the guy anything, u don't know if the guy knew or not
I enjoyed the video from start to finish, I think the edits were solid, and weren't overdone. I very much appreciate seeing you price your items at the end of the video: that is excellent, and I'm sure it helps those who are getting into collecting.
The only place to get nes games around here left our flea market many years ago :( Pretty sure the guy died. He used to let me come with my dad, buy like 5 games for 10 bucks, play them, and then trade them in for 5 new ones, and he had new stuff like every 2 weeks! Really cool guy he was.
If you're looking for a good flea market hit up Canton Texas. It's right outside of Dallas. It's massive, you could walk it everyday for a week and not see the whole thing.
I had the Game Gear charger but I'm pretty sure I bricked it because I charged it immediately after opening it on X-Mas. Older rechargeable battery technology would require you to do a full drain on the battery, re-charge it, *then* you could use it. Whoops!
3:32 Bill & Ted's Excellent Video Game Adventure is beyond horrible. I donated my old copy to James Rolfe when he was looking to complete his collection, along with a few other games he needed. He went on to review a different game I donated: Metal Gear. (And I thank him for it! The NES version is broken, and it's especially apparent when you play the original MSX version on Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence)
That was a hell of a deal for that gameboy. And I can't find any game gears anywhere at my local fleamarkets. But over there you're coming across a lot? Boo.
5:34 hey can you tell frank that wallabies are about the size of large cats, i know this because i see them every now and again when i go west to visit family.
Pat is so lucky, where I live we only have two flea markets. Unfortunately, they both only have a handful of sellers and only sell junk. If you do find games they are all at retail price :(
In my country, if you're lucky enough to even find a flea market, you might find some "great" games such as NHL 99 and Fifa 2000. Not always easy being a collector... :(
depends were you live and the game intrest in the comunity we im at i always get good stuff like a game gear with 43 games and all the attatchments for 20 quid
I live in Brazil, the only flea market i know of in Sao Paulo, where I live, has absolutely zero video games in it, which sucks....on the plus side, I buy a lot of Classic Rock and Metal Vinyls and i get rarities there for a steal.
Only thing worse the mlb on nes was nfl on game boy...the only thing I could do was get a 2-3 yard gain on qb sneak and I could do it all the way down the field
My Game Gear and games in a case are doing very well, on top of a bunch of papers to prevent them from blowing around. I guess I have to pay someone to take it from me.
I had the stupid mario karts race track it sucked some times cars would move at all then other time when it did it was two slow unless you crushed the trigger then the car would go way to fast and come off
it's not up to him to go through the seller's items and then convince them to sell at a higher price, or part out their wares. buy a used car with a super nice radio in it, you gonna tell the person to take the radio out, or offer them a few hundred more?

"flea market tension" lmao
Frank: "Thats whats NOT gonna happen!!"
Ironic Pat does the same trick with the gameboy and pokémon blue, that Wario would get called out for in a later episode.
That Panasonic game system find is incredible and damn what a deal
frank is love frank is life
Poppy Reilly, you are a beautiful woman (I don’t care what everyone else says).
I can't keep myself from watching these videos.
Bummer that the most interesting find (CD-i) wasn't recorded in the video :/

Yeah, Pat kinda disappointed me there.
The seller should realise that there is a game in the system. So it's good to try and walk that extra step in getting a cheaper deal.
That´s not the point.

Uncucked The seller should always be aware if there are extra games in boxes or consoles if they don't want them to be sold with the other item
30 is great for a game gear now

Same here in Canada, except there are a lot of VHS Tapes and DVDs too.
Keep up the awesome vids and please never ever forget to include the cut scene intro when Frank arrives! :)
LOVE this series Pat! Still looking for someone as nerdy about retro games as me to go game chasing in my area.
I saw a Nirvana Bleach CD in there

The way Pat edits these is hilarious.

Awesome pickups man! Recently I got some more vectrex stuff to add to my vectrex collection :)

+retro rider Frank reminds me of the Ollie's store mascot...
Pat's totally checking that chick out 7:08.
Still hot after all these years.
7:44 that the special 15th anniversary edition controller
Maybe someday you show what Frank bought?
I had the Game Gear charger but I'm pretty sure I bricked it because I charged it immediately after opening it on X-Mas. Older rechargeable battery technology would require you to do a full drain on the battery, re-charge it, *then* you could use it. Whoops!
7:07 Pat leaving in a creepy moment again. Pat, please, no more
as for the CD-i..holy crap!
Jurassic Park 2: The Chaos Continues is an underrated co-op classic, good find
Are we gonna get more Flea Market Madness? I love your adventures :P

Nice score on the cdi...
That was a hell of a deal for that gameboy. And I can't find any game gears anywhere at my local fleamarkets. But over there you're coming across a lot? Boo.
Wow im truly amazed seeing a beautiful girl into gaming! Also I agree about the game gear, I see them from time to time at my local flee mart.

5:34 hey can you tell frank that wallabies are about the size of large cats, i know this because i see them every now and again when i go west to visit family.
Does anyone know what the outro music is? Sounds like a game I might enjoy playing!
That Ducktales DVD set, lol, it's not the complete first season, and they released it very recently.

When are you gonna post some more of these. I like these vids the most on your channel.
where is this flea market/swap meet/place of trade/those shenanigans

They always leave the best games in the back of the gameboy.
Frank is love.
Frank is life.
-Pat
My first flea market find was a cdi for $14
god i wish we had those fleamarkets
Why the resellers use that little scanner thing?
pulsini To check the amazon price and compare it to the seller's price so they can buy it, then resell it.
Damn, there was a lot of good stuff for sale.
I have the FF7 demo disc, and a Squaresoft demo disc.
Great vid, PATtheNESPUNK!

Awesome 3do pick

Hey Pat. I live in central NJ and visit fleamarkets every weekend hoping to find NES and SNES games. Which one was this?
after watching this if i see a man selling a dreamcast on the street im gonna say hell yeah!
hey pat when will flea market madness 13 come out?
Only thing worse the mlb on nes was nfl on game boy...the only thing I could do was get a 2-3 yard gain on qb sneak and I could do it all the way down the field
My Game Gear and games in a case are doing very well, on top of a bunch of papers to prevent them from blowing around. I guess I have to pay someone to take it from me.
Man Pat, I got Bubsy for $2 also, but mine has no box and the label is mostly missing. SO JEALOUS!
I had the stupid mario karts race track it sucked some times cars would move at all then other time when it did it was two slow unless you crushed the trigger then the car would go way to fast and come off
I would prefer having good boot sales or flea markets as you call it
At the end you should put how much you saved in total.
i probablywould have bought the whole box nes games .
where are these flea markets located anyone
I had that Muppet Babies lunch box.
WTF GAMEBOY COLOR AND POKEMON BLUE FOR TEN BUCKS LUCKY
Old people don't know to use the Interwebs, therefore they never check E-Bay prices.
I know Right
A while ago at a garage sale I got a Gameboy Color with Zelda:Oracle of Seasons for 7$.
KeatonKitsun3 Pretty good deal there considering the Oracle games are about 15-20$ each.
it's not up to him to go through the seller's items and then convince them to sell at a higher price, or part out their wares. buy a used car with a super nice radio in it, you gonna tell the person to take the radio out, or offer them a few hundred more?
What a save.
I had no idea that the CD-I was worth over $100.....hmmm.....what to do with mine (it was given to me)
did I just seriously see someone selling one ff8 disk? like 1 out of 4?
it looked pirated too
30 for a game gear with a power adaptor and a case? I would have gladly bought that. Those aren't common where I'm at.
Same as me but im from puerto rico
Your picture.
Where did you get it.
P.s.
Please tell me you bought Bubsy to burn it.
where did he find frank?
What Is the name of the game that shows off when frank enters the episode? If it is a game i would like to know the name
$30 is not bad for a Game Gear w/case & cables...you should see what most "video game" stores try to sell them for.
These vids are the best!!
Dude same, i have like 1 good market where i live, england sucks for game hunting
Congrats. You accomplished so much
NEW FLEA MARKET MADNESS! YEAH!
The Mad Max game doesn't say 2 but the pic is from the second movie and the Rambo NES game doesn't say 2 but the pic is from part 2
