Derelict Boat Disposal in Hampshire Garden

- The Boatbreakers team were out on the road to chop two derelict boats in a Hampshire garden. The boat disposal was organised as the house and land needed to be cleared before it is sold.
One of the boats was an old speedboat that had sat untouched for 35 years. A second smaller boat was in fact a boat mould.
As you can see from the video this was a tricky job as the engine in the speedboat was heavier than we expected. But the team managed to work around the issue and remove the boats as planned.
There wasn't anything onboard either boat worth saving to try and pass on to our Boat Scrapyard Facebook Group members.
The speed boat is a 100 footer isn’t she ?
That’s 100ft she looks ok that is 😂👍
That’s also the same engine that was in my old 76 320 BMW shark nose, I wish I still had her cost they worth a mint nowadays.
U should get a tripod then your mate u employ can get his hands dirty as well as the boss 😂✌️🇬🇧
Do you know what the make the boat was with the BMW engine? I really like boats that have a fiberglass hull and wood deck, it gives you the best of both worlds. Also I think the hull was a "delta" designed by Sonny Levi. Just a shame it was let go so bad all you could do is cut it up.
Not too sure on the make. Most of it we pulled apart by hand as it was so badly rotted through.
@@BoatbreakersVideo Thank you for your reply.
Looks like a 12ft Max Craft the mould
Did you ever think of recycling the likes of the boat mould for a fish pond or water trough for livestock
Once knew a man you purchased a boat of a farmer that was being used to water cattle. Ge got years of commercial fishing out of it after ,
Winch it on a beaver tail. 20 min job but no money in that.
Maybe next time get a bigger trailer 🤦♂️
A bigger trailer wouldn't have fitted through the gate with the access being a lane outside.
