These are simply the best Kamados in the world. I had a 23'' for 10 years and it got better and better the longer I owned it. Movers dropped it off the truck and that ended its life --- ever seen a grown man cry!!!!! Dennis Linkletter owns this company (some of you may remember his Dad, Art Linkletter, who had a TV show for many years back in the 60's). Dennis is a great guy and will take care of you should you decide to purchase one. Definitely pricey, but this is a cooker for life. You will not be disappointed!!! Thanks for the review, one of these Bad Boys is definitely in my near future!!!!
The video mentioned some follow up videos detailing cooking with the 32". Just wondering if they were ever made? Given you've owned both the 23" and 32" can you give us some insight into the differences you've found.... Did you end up loving the 32" as much as the 23".... what is better? what is not as good?
Great Video Hector. I know you claimed you were moving, I sure your glad that your moved. I would be curios since your Komodo sat that long that might be good for the curing process. I recently seen a 23 similar to your old one for sale they were asking 1800.00 the top had several tiles missing and no pics of interior I felt it had been a little abused so I passed. I am curios can you update lower air control panel from old style 1 knob to updated panel with 2 knobs. Your Video was very comprehensive. Looking forward to you breaking it in and cooking on it. A good comprehensive video of break in burn to set tiles would really be great. Somewhere I seen one and you could see adhesive bubbling while heating up.
Hey John, I recently sold my old 23, it was 3-4 years old and still looked like new. I'm not sure whether I am going to do the great in video anymore as all of the new ones are Pre cured. This started around May 18, I think mine was built around March 18 but you're right, it'll be interesting to see if the time has helped the cure. My previous 23 did have a spot that bubbled, I just put a prick into the adhesive and then pushed the tiles down and it was perfect. It looks as though you can get the new style air intake for the 23 but I'd just talk to Dennis first to make sure the spacing on the attachments are the same.
Thanks for the video, the KK looks pretty awesome. I was wandering the secret behind being able to hold temperatures for so long. Can I know the material of the gasket or sealant between the hood and the firebox?
You can check the KK website for sealant materials etc but the reason it keeps temp so well is because of the wall thickness. It struggles to lose heat. Some night I will shut it down at 10pm and at 6am the next day, it still has residual heat.
Such a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. Cant wait to see several slabs of ribs on one of these. I've been searching for the right ceramic cooker for 6 slabs or more flat. I have had a large BGE for about 15 years but think I'm going with an oval for my 2nd ceramic piece. Thanks for sharing. Always enjoy your videos mate👍
Hectors Smoke House I saw some German unboxing where they craned it into a guy's back yard, so I was wondering if that was just included or he paid for that lol.
Very detailed walk through and good video quality. Thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it :-)

Oh wow!!!! That is terrible, what a way to go. It would certainly make me cry as well. Hopefully you get another one at some time :-) I love the KK
OMG.... I wish we could afforded this jaw dropping grill!
Enjoy your product reviews, look forward to seeing more!
So happy that you enjoy them. I have a new one for a Gateway Drum coming over the holidays. Looking forward to giving it a run 😁
Absolutely beautiful! Good luck and enjoy! Great video.
Many thanks 😊
More like a Patek Philippe than a Rolex! Nice, very nice; one day…

I'd like to know as well
Thank you for this overview/review. Very well done!
How’s this holding up after 3yrs of use?
The thing is how did you manage to get this thing to australia… I’m in Sydney and this looks so wowwwww
Hi Wu, just go to the website and contact Dennis the owner. He is awesome and can arrange shipping from Bali. Tell him that I sent you.
Dave, that’s really nice to know!!!
That thing is amazing.
Totally agree 😁😁😁

Man, this thing is crazy!
My favourite 😁
Good overview. As a fellow KK 32" owner, I approve! :)
The KK is the Lamborghini of kamado grills.
I see shine, much shine hahaha. It's super pretty! 😅🙈 It looks luxurious.
Definitely very shiny 😁 like a huge glitter ball
It better for 10 grand

Does this deserted island have animals to catch and cook? lol
Great video!!!

Teléfono para saber el precio del BBQ en PR please
What's a caker?
When they deliver that monster will they unbox and move it for you? Because I don't think I have anybody capable of that lol.
Ha, no help. It is big and heavy, offer some friends a free feed in exchange for some muscle 😁

You actually think they would include a crane?? Wow
Also doubles as a bath!
hmmmm never saw any cooks with it???????
Best $10k you can ever spend. (48").
Hoping to use it personally, and for business ( craft baker).
That is not a grill it is an art pieces.
how do you put it together? How do you move it around?
That's the most rediculous BBQ I've ever seen. It looks like the bastard love child of Liberace and a Dalek.
Y
Kamado? Nah! That's a nice shiny bathtub you have there.
Hehe, it does look like one :-)
Trailer park mentality! Save ur pennies; U’ll surely need them 2 get through life.
