I just found your channel and subscribed. As a Native Floridian I have fished (Fresh and Saltwater) Florida for over 50+ years and can always learn new tips. It was about 25 years ago that I caught my "FIRST" Largemouth over 10+ lbs. I was in Miramar fishing for Peacock Bass when a small largemouth bass (about the size of your first catch in video) ate my shiner and before I got it reeled in, I saw the bucket mouth come up and engulf that bass. Since then I have caught several over 10+ lbs. with my PB being 14.5 lbs... I look forward to catching up on your past videos and seeing new videos.
Sitting on my Florida porch right now, I only WISH there was a cold front, the humidity has been ridiculous lately. Florida Bassy- love it! Bass fishing is fun all over Fl, and yes- so very many lakes all over- therefore so much bass. I was probably 12 before I found out you could buy fish at a grocery store, we always had a freezer full of bass, I learned to fillet them before I learned to drive.

Yeah these ponds do hold big bass and no one ever fishes them for some reason
Sweet I've always end up being more of a cat fisherman I've never been able to catch bass I caught one once that was bigger than the one that you caught at the end of this I caught him on a full grown crayfish in the lake of the Ozarks Missouri at the bagnell dam if he ever want some place to go fishing on the bottom side of the dam in the river.
A little tip if u don't already know this but always cast out before u walk up to the bank or opening alot of time there waiting right at the bank if u walk up before casting u will scare them off.
I was always told as a kid to take the dogfish or (Bowfin) out of the lakes we fished. But once i got older and found out that there not a trash fish really they are actually good eating also they are a prehistoric fish and they send sound waves to other bowfin fish kind of like whales do. But once i found that out i catch and release them now. Honestly i think anything prehistoric should be protected whether it be reptiles, birds or even fish.

@ 🤣 I think it will be the hottest and most humid! I have been saying lately- “at least it’s not August hot!” 🥵
Great video! Getting me all pumped up for my Florida trip in 2 weeks!!
It’s hot! Bring sunscreen and take breaks! But enjoy! There’s so much to see and do, especially if you like nature!
@@KerriGilpin will be the first time I try fishing in Florida. Have been several times before but didn't have the opportunity to get any hooks wet!
Get some salt on your rod at least once- so worth it! Enjoy!
Best of luck! Let me know if you need any spots.
Dav, the babies are cute too!❣
You gotta try Lake Ida , delray beach...
That's one of my favorite lakes down there. I've got a few vids I shot there

Cats are always a blast!
Where's there's little ones, there's s few big ones! That First Pond looked like a perfect pond to stick a kayak in and paddle around and fish
Right?
Wow dude!
Those were small
And then they got huge, excellent!
Thanks Dav!

So is this public property or private? In Arkansas, if you fish on property you don't know.... you may not return home.
Public. For private property we always get permission

I believe the reason the guy said to remove the mudfish from your pond is because they will eat all your bass fry.
That's possible
For God's sake get rid of that bowfin . It's trash fish.
