    Hi everyone been a part of MTHL Project, I can assure you all that this bridge is remarkable. There are lot of new construction techniques by which we have made the bridge (various been such that is used for the first time in the industry). It won’t be inaugurated this year, but will surely get inaugurated before 20th Jan of next year.
    In future, when both ends of the current bridge are connected to Mumbai Pune Expressway & BWS respectively then it would be a total game changer!
    After handing over this project, me & my team are heading to Cable Stay bridge of Mumbai Pune Missing Link. (Another beautiful project).

      @mayureshbhosle The bridge it at par with any modern bridge. The only issue it may create would be in Mumbai where the roads are too narrow and would not be able to handle 60,000 incoming vehicles a day from this bridge. What do you think?

    Hello sir, I am very happy because I started my career as a civil engineer in this Marvel project MTHL PKG-01, there were so many problems when we used to cast segments and in the meantime there was Corona lockdown. And I have dedicated myself to this project for 3 years and today seeing it standing tall above the Arabian Sea, I am filled with confidence.

    I am really amazed at the way these roads and bridges are being planned and built. Hat’s off to the people behind all this. In few years, the overall road transport will be so much enjoyable, time and money saving. Thanks to Droneman for sharing the progress on regular basis and showing the perspective in high quality videos.

    Phenomenal.
    For some odd reason, Maharashtra always takes way too much time for the infrastructure projects.
    Wether it's Mumbai Delhi Expressway, Bullet train project and now Mumbai metro.
    But I'm glad that Maharshtra is now finally showing up signs that it can move the projects rapidly.
    But still there's a lot to achieve.

    We have often observed with infra projects is that in the majority of the cases, projects are thrown open to the public without all the work completed. It can be argued that this might be due to elections coming up. I believe that the government should trust the public to appreciate and wait for a completed project which is truly world-class and reward the government accordingly. Great video as always!

    After 4 years of comprehensive study, data analysis, modelling, techno economic evaluation, my self and our consulting team of CRRI India, had proposed sea link, Transharbour link, bK Complex, jawahar Port, rail to navi Mumbai Metro...in 1982!
    I was with CRRI India and MMRDA. Then went to Canada and Australia.

    People are saying toll charges will be around 300-500/ vehicle one way. And it’s too steep.
    I think prices are are ok considering amount you save on fuel plus time you save to travel. It’s good deal provided they don’t increase toll for next 10 years so.
    Also there should be bus connectivity so it can be affordable.

    SO THIS PROVES INDIA-SRI LANKA BRIDGE POSSIBLE 🙆, WHICH IS ABOUT ~30KM AND WITH EASY GROUND SUPPORT. IF WE JOIN WITH SRILANKA VIA BRIDGE, IT WILL TAKE US BACK TO THE LAST GLACIAL MAXIMUM WHEN THERE WAS NO SEA IN BTW US, WHICH IS 21,000~14,000 YEARS AGO.

      But India dont need that bridge. It will divert all cargo movements to Colombo port and our own mother ports in construction like Vizhinjam will be affected. Its like we are creating opportunity for China's new project in Colombo like the Coastal city project.

      @@arjunraj823 Bro, Our mother port gonna be opened in less than 2 years, the study for bridge gonna come only in 2024. It will take at least 6 years to build that bridge, by then our goods which get stored in colombo port, will be transferred to Our Mother Port itself. We are creating opportunity for colombo, colombo isn't giving us the opportunity.

    Hi Dost, you make great videos. Also add how much time will it take from point to point or what's the distance from point to point as compared to the current route. EG.: From Taj Mahal hotel to panvel bus depot distance and time it takes currently as compared to if someone uses the MTHL. This will help common people to decide which route is better to use for traveling. Also from other places to Kharghar or Belapur. Common people think along these lines.

    As per my knowledge the Toll may be Rs 7.50 - 9.50 per km, it means that we save time and money and in return we will increase our efficiency which I think may be 6.75/10 The Eastern Free Way was a FREE GIFT to the people of Mumbai. Let us wait for few more days and have patience!

    I think it will be possible to open the bridge by 25/12/23. But what will be the toll charges? Will bikes be allowed? Will BEST and NMMT and ST buses be allowed?
    If possible, what is the status of Kashedi Tunnel

      Bikes wont be allowed. That’s for sure. Maybe NMMT can divert 115 bus service which starts from Kharkopar station. That will be a golden egg route for NMMT if they do the same. Once Sewri-Worli Connector is also done, maybe Chalo can also launch an Airport-Ulwe bus service. Possibilities are unlimited, but better to wait and watch.

      For two wheelers(bikes) toll charges should be 75% against four wheelrs if it is allowed and for all dedicated lanes should be assigned to maintain their speeds momentum.

    Although It was a great Quality of content and really got to know a lot about how MMRDA has envisaged this development... some of the key practical aspects have been neglected in this discussion. The true commercial success of MTHL is dependent on a lot of factors...:
    1. The connecting projects associated which will drive maximum traffic usage. -e.g. as mentioned in the video currently only JNPT will be enjoying seamless connectivity after the commissioning of the bridge, rest all the statements of Mumbai to Pune in less than 3 hrs., Navi Mumbai Airport connectivity, Mumbai to Navi Mumbai in under 25 -30 mins is still a bit exaggeration, it depends on how fast cidco develops the remaining coastal roads for seamless airport connectivity, plus this airport construction also is moving at snail's pace, I know this since I am an ulwe residence. Similarly for we need better connectivity not just for South Mumbai but actually western Suburbs like Andheri, BKC and hence the worli -sewri connector is equally important but no one talks about that and it is also getting completed at a snail's pace. So until that happens people are still going to prefer the Vashi bridge. Many of the Connectors on the ulwe will not open to public for atleast five years from now, untill CIDCO doesn't make the required coastal roads, the construction of which hasn't even started.
    2. The most important factor for a daily commuter is an expense, The toll of this bridge is going to be somewhere around Rs 350 for the car which is way more than Rs 40 for Vashi Bridge even if we factor in the extra distance and fuel burnt for it. Lets also remember 2 wheelers are not allowed.
    3. Even if I want to commute from CSMT to lets say any place near Kharghar or Belapur the average time even during peak traffic is 1 hr 10mins. Now let's explore this MTHL route you come from CSMT TO SEWRI that's 20 mins on EEH, then 20-25mins for coming from Sewri to chirle junction, then from Chirle junction to Belapur is another 10-15 mins including a 1.5 min long signal at NMMC headquarters so that rounds up a travel time of 50- 60 mins which is again close to 1 hr. So people have to remember whenever someone makes an exaggerated statement of Mumbai to Navi Mumbai in 25 mins it's all a marketing gimmick. it's Sewri to Chirle in 20 -25 mins that's it. So the effective difference in time is just of 5 mins which comes at cost of 350-500 RUPEES...

      CSMT to Sewri via EEH is not more than 10 minutes.. I reach Chembur in 20 minutes.. Sewri to Chirle is another 15 minutes, and Chirle to Belapur is 10-15 minutes.. so that's around 35-40 minutes.. compared to 1.5 hrs at peak traffic, and the extremely tiring experience off going through countless traffic signals and bridges and and turns and twists.. while here it'll be a smooth, no signal, no stress, straightforward ride in less than half the time..

    The tool amount for such a long bridge is not very high. It is not meant for people to use daily. People should use mass transit whenever possible. Bridges just 20% the length charge more even after adjusting for PPP.

    I can see there are already lot of traffic on Eastern free way and Mazgaon road. With 100s of vehicles comings from Navi Mumbai at speed of 80-90km then I think there will traffic mess at shivdi end.
