When you buy the scalloped rug make sure that you get it bigger. Rule of thumb for size is to take the diameter of the table and add 24-30 inches for each side to accommodate the chairs. Example a 41” table should have a 6-8 ft diameter rug.
Baby clothes are so fun! Love the new fan. I think the big pot in your bathroom is really cute!! I like big decor that takes up space. Everyone's decor style is different. The new pot on the table is adorable. I like the table oval. Baby girl will grow so fast and be sitting at it with you before you know it. 😊
The dining room looks really nice, Lauren. If you wanted to do more, you could see if you could get a blinds company to sponsor you and put up bamboo blinds that are similar in color to your table. It’s amazing what new blinds can do to a room!
I absolutely love your kitchen table and chairs! It’s so beautiful and natural looking. I personally love it as an oval shape, but YOU know YOUR space and I can’t wait to see it complete.
I always take down 4th of July the weekend after the holiday. I then like to decorate with simple summer stuff in neutrals, mostly white, so i can easily add in fall a little at a time after school starts.
Make sure the round table is directly under the light above.
A couple weeks after July 4th, I take my decor down and put up my sunflower decor then marge the fall into the sunflower decor in August/Sept
After 4th of July I transition to sunflowers! I feel it still gives summer vibes but also goes with early Fall!

Love the idea of gold with the hutch! The new picture is perfect !! Walmart has lots of gold decor & even dollar general! I know you love that store, too!
I like what you did in the dining room, just elevate that greenery in the basket more so you can see it pop out. A new bigger rug will look good, I haven't seen any scalloped ones so excited to see what you find ❤️

Your little touches you did to the dining area look great! I love adding touches of gold to kind of glam up a space! Maybe you could add a smaller gold tray or even gold charger plate under the plant, with a small candle or something to bring the gold over to the table too!
I would paint the hutch black and add more modern gold handles
Yes that would look good & the chairs are black would match & definitely do brass gold handles on china cabinet

Love the table round in your space…the scalloped rug would be a nice add but I would personally order it bigger. After the 4th I decorate with summer items around the house, not a lot but some summer flowers on the table… watermelon salt and pepper shakers just for looks and other summer things on the shelf’s just to add a little pop to the area….
I really like the corner lamp by the hutch and the hutch changes. I would definitely get a bigger rug for that area!

Girl, I'm with you, I woke up to a kinda gloomy day so I pulled my salted Carmel candle out and lite it up and it just made it feel so cozy in the house! (Even tho it's about 100 degrees outside😂) Love all your new little touches❤

I’m due August 21st and will mostly likely decorate for fall super early so it can be done before baby comes. My daughter also starts preschool August 26th. So I want it done before the chaos lol I’m ready for comfy cozy vibes anyway
My summer decor is a combination of watermelon and sunflowers. I do add the patriotic in little touches for the July 4 holiday. Toward the middle of August, I decorate my front porch with a back to school theme. I love what you are doing with your home. It is uniquely you. Just how our homes should be.

I’ve had 4th of July / patriotic decor up since Memorial Day! I’ll decorate for summer with beach theme either 4th of July night or the next day! It’s my fav decor! So simple and pretty!🐚
I leave my summer stuff up until after Labor Day! After that I start transitioning to fall
I put up my patriotic stuff in May and I do not take it down until after Labor Day. Then I’ll put a few fall things out sometime in September, but I don’t decorate very heavy for anything other than Christmas.

I actually found a new Hobby Lobby close to my house, fall is mostly up and 40% off. I usually just take it down and wait before fall.
We have four boob lights in our kitchen. I will be so glad to replace them soon!

Maybe for the kitchen table a pretty white fruit bowl and some colored orbs in it to bring out your kitchen colors if you don’t want fruit in the bowl.
After the Fourth of July I immediately take that decor down and put back my regular summer decor.
I have some patriotic and lemon decor out for summer. I leave it out through middle of August and then first of September I decorate for fall!

🇺🇲 I usually have my whole house decorated with 4th decor from May til Labor Day, I put up alot!
But this year I've been tired of it since June. So I will be taking it all down right after the 4th, and just have simple regular decor up until Sept 1. Then I will do my fall, which I do a ton of that as well.🍁🎃
Hi Lauren love what you did in the dinning nook. Do what you love & works for you… it’s your home after all. Edited to say that I don’t decorate inside for the 4th. Any bold color drives me crazy so I just do the front porch. I keep it very minimal ALL summer long! The decor gets heavy for Fall & Christmas in our house. 😉
The dining area looks great and will look even better when you get the new rug!!! We need new ceiling fans too, I don't have a "boob" ceiling fan but mine are outdated!! lol
I do a beach theme for the summer months and add in 4th of July decor to it, so once the 4th is over I just remove that decor and leave up my beach decor throughout August. I start putting out Fall in September 😊
I love the new vase and flowers great proportions. I was just thinking put a lamp in that corner and then you said it! To add more glam I'd look to change the drapes. It's the one thing that designers talk about how to change up a space, going bold with one item. Maybe the drapes could be that item? Just a thought. Excited to see what you do next 🙂

I leave patriotic🇺🇸 decor until the middle of August. Summer is my least favorite season so having patriotic decor makes it more festive and enjoyable. Middle of July I bring out my lemon plates and yellow flowers. I gradually start adding in pre-fall decor in mid/late August.

Yeah I change things up the day after 4th of July goes up all the seashells and starfish and sea life stuff and then August is flamingos in September's apples I don't do fall till October and I put pumpkins and leaves out then during November I get my turkeys out and just move on from there

So glad you replaced the pot on the table that is so much better. I would use that big pot as a floor pot maybe with a plant in it. It’s way too big even for the bathroom. Sorry, but I don’t like the floor lamp at all in the corner, the softness of a plant would be so much better and again use the pot you have in the bathroom. Just my opinions, of course.

I normally leave up Patriotic decor until the day after Labor Day then switch to Fall. This year I’m thinking is switching it up and after July 4th week go clean slate until Fall. 🫶🏻
Do not like the round table. It looks very small. Should have left the table alone. Wrong rug size. Instead of the lamb in the corner you need a plant to match the space.
