I bought the third function valve kit from my kubota dealer. I got the kubota brand, not land pride. It was a little tough to do the install, but not insane. If your comfortable with a wrench, and understand that you MUST read the instructions totally before beginning, you’ll do fine.
If I need a continuous flow in the rear of the tractor , can I put a hydraulic multiplier in the 3pth line? my tractor has a visible cylinder for the 3pth in addition to possibly internal lifting mechanism. thank you
Question for Ted: Can't we use that kit to power a backhoe on the back? Why not have a separate set of lines going to the back (on tractors that don't come with remotes) to power a backhoe, and just use a clip to hold down the button on the loader handle? MAIN CONCERN: Will that electric valve overheat or fail from using it for hours instead of a for SECONDS like a root grapple?????????????? I love EverythingAttachments, great people, great videos, great products.
kevedamanyo So in other words---If my Kubota L3800 does not have remotes, why can't I use this kit to provide remotes on the back, and then also use it on the front for a grapple at other times. Just have a set of quick connect lines going ot the back, and another set on the front. Plug into whichever set I need that day? Solves my remotes problem IF I can run a backhoe with that electric valve rocker switch pinched on for a whole day at a time.......
+kevedamanyo you don't need a valve to send power beyond for a back hoe. just tap into the power beyond port take that to the rear of the tractor use a male or female connector. then run another line from the rear of the tractor to where the power beyond use to terminate at that block just under the floor board on the right side or passenger side. when no back hoe is being used plug the male into the female connector to create a loop and complete the circuit. when a bh is used unplug the male and female connector at the rear and connect the male and female from the bh to those lines. make sure when you plug and unplug lines tractor is off and relieve the pressure by moving the loader joy stick in all positions after the tractor is off.
Bought this 3rd function kit from EA for my kubota grand L3010. Works great. Video is a big help as the printed instructions suck. Is there a way to reverse the switch function? Mine closes grapple with top toggle and opens with bottom, which works but seems counterintuitive to me. I guess the simplest fix is to just switch the couplings?
That is how mine is setup and for some reason it does not seem correct to me. I just had tractor delivered yesterday. I always thought the top button would close it
Is it possible to adjust the force of the remotely actuated hydraulics? Sometimes I want feel like I need more pinching force from my grapple bucket. Too much force seems like it could also be bad for the implement.
I live in Perth Western Australia, and purchased a foton lovol 504 tractor, a few months later I have had a fully preassembled 504 front end loader with 4 in 1 bucket shipped to perth directly from china, The loader has come pre assembled hoses controller etc but they have not sent me any fitting instructions or a manual to help me, I have mounted the frame etc correctly to the tractor but am stuck as to where the controls go and hydraulic plate, would you be able to assist as you are the only reputable dealer I can find . thank you
Do you have a kit for a Branson 2610H. This is the set up I want and the Branson set up is just a diverter valve but I want all 3 functions at one time so a diverter valve is not for me
Yes sir. Just supply your tractor and loader model numbers when ordering. The custom WR Long kit, along with several more videos and 400+ customer reviews is here www.everythingattachments.com/3rd-Function-Hydraulic-Kit-p/tra-3rd-funcl.htm
Ted, I have a 50hp tractor I use for plowing snow, with a front snow plow blade. Instead of a third function valve, the dealer ran lines to the aux. ports on the rear of the tractor for the right/left angle, a bit inconvenient but not horrible. I am wondering if I can switch hoses so the joystick controls the right/left angle and the aux. would control forward/backward tilt. Since I use the right/left a lot more it would be more convenient.
Thanks Ted for the quick response. For now I only use the tractor for plowing snow. I suppose if I needed loader I could switch the hoses back. Anyway thanks for the help, and thanks for all the videos. I've watched a lot of them and learn a lot from them. Rod
Can I ask you question I seen a bunch of your different videos so I know you know about the older Ford tractor like the 70 models I want add a grapple to my bucket but I have 730 loader that uses the front pump I have no hydraulic ports for the rear I think I can ad a control valve that fits under the seat and that could ad me to ports would that be the way I could add a grapple
Thanks for watching! Yes, we do. It will not interfere with rear remotes. Check it out here on the website: www.everythingattachments.com/3rd-Function-Hydraulic-Kit-p/tra-3rd-funcl.htm
Is it possible to just add an 12 volt two way hydrolic pump w/reservoir and remote to the grappler if your tractor or skid steer already have bucket but no aux hoses to attach to grapple hands?
Do you have a kit for John Deere? I have a 4120. If not, do you have a suggestion as to the best way to go about it? I want to add a grapple to my front end loader bucket. JD makes a power beyond for the rear. I was thinking about an hydraulic multiplier? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

That
is the exact reason why you wouldn’t use it for a backhoe or attachment that
requires continuous flow.

Just switch the coupler on the outlets

Not really a way to adjust the force, but you could adjust the speed with a flow restrictor if desired.

Yes, you could switch the hoses, but loader work would be pretty awkward.

Thanks for watching! Yes, we do. It will not interfere with rear remotes. Check it out here on the website: www.everythingattachments.com/3rd-Function-Hydraulic-Kit-p/tra-3rd-funcl.htm

The valve kit is a more user friendly option, but you can use other means as long as it produces flow and provides you with a manner of actuation.

Was looking through...is there a video for what you would use on the rear with the 3rd aux? Or is there a video showing how you run it to the rear.
A third function on the back is called a rear remote. If you look that up that should give you what ur looking for.
