What’s weird is that when the evidence is so strongly for an Iranian connection and the work of the PFLP-GC so many of the American relations have been quick to criticise Jim Swire and the new drama. I find it odd that so many of the relatives see a connection to Libya when to any lay person it’s far from certain. I realise people want to grieve and move on but I would have though proper justice would be a strong motivation for so many that any concerns about Lockerbie would have been sorted by now.
Drove by the hole and street where it happened on way to catch a plane left me a bit shook up the scale of it was a horrific sight to see it up close unbelievable never forget it all them poor people died there rip
I was a Pan Am flight attendant based in London. Shortly before Lockerbie the US had mistakenly shot down an Iran Air passenger jet - no explanation or apology.... We knew there would be retribution for that, and I believe Lockerbie was exactly that. I knew most of the crew, lovely people. Still unimaginable.
The only explanation I ever heard for IranAir 655 was that the radar on the vessel misidentified it as an F14 fighter. For some reason it couldn’t tell the difference between a fighter jet and an Airbus A300. Thoughts are with your Pan Am colleagues on Flight 103
An incredible gentleman who loved his daughter so much. May all the souls lost that day rest in peace.

@@13thnotehifireviews7Agree. Perhaps the desperate need for closure is the cause of ill-feeling from some to Jim Swire.
A double tragedy, as the murderer was released for humanitarian reasons.
Unsafe conviction
Watch the drama - he most likely didn't do it, it was Iran and a big cover up by the CIA
Was he the murderer ? It doesn’t look like he was.
I remember reading the book back in the day about this and how the Mossad tracked down the Libyan terrorists responsible.
What an incredible man….would we know as much as we do now if it wasn’t for his courage ❤️✝️

Iran not Libya
Sounds like a sacrifice
