Absolutely the hands down best car chase movie to exist. I wish they had re-released it with the original music. I guess Haliki brother who did all the original music wanted nothing to do with his widow (rightfully so).
0:43-0:50 Police Siren Long Steady Wailer Hollywood Edge Since 1992 From La Rosa De Guadalupe (El Doble Infierno, Dulces Y Chocolates), Carita De Ángel (Año 2000, Capitulo 10, Capitulo 11, Capitulo 40, Capitulo 67, Capitulo 90, Capitulo 125), Floricienta, Quitapenas, Golpe Al Corazon, El Precio Justo Argentina, Periodismo Para Todos, Most Shocking, Most Daring, World's Most Amazing Videos, Hot Pursuit Court TV, TruTV, 22 El Loco, Noche Y Dia, Mi Hermano Es Un Clon, Barney And Friends, Martha Habla (Firedog), Gone In 60 Seconds 1974, Home Alone (1990),
Keep the mustang. Id take pretty much any one of those cop cars. Probably 383 and 440 cars. All sadly destroyed and virtually impossible to find anymore. Even that mercury held on like a beast. Extinct.
the og Eleanor was truly a 1971 Ford Mustang Sportroof it was not call a fastback at the time the car is equip with a 302 2V V8 the 2V is 2bbl carb and it got a 3speed auto console shifter the only mod that the creator put on it was a 1973 grille with a Nascar roll cages to make it look like a 1973 Mach 1 302 V8 model and yes the Mach 1 did came with a 302 in 1973 it just that the guy who made the film who own the junkyard of all the cars that he crash for the film before he made the film rebuilt a wreck beak up 1971 Mustang before he started the film and he had parts for a 1973 year model and all the cars he stole in the film were all belong to H.B. Halicki the junkyard owner and stuntman that made this film cause if you see the license plates on all the Rolls and Caddy he stole in the film got all his name on the plate as HBH. all the police cars were from his junkyard and all the cars he crash were also from his junkyard.
Growing up watching these movies in the 80s and 90s is probably one reason why I love playing GTA so much, haha 😇
I remember seeing this movie a the theater when it came out. I went and watched again.
Me to and eat my dust.

ANY car chase is WORTH the watch!
I read somewhere that the Cadillac that Halicki was driving in the opening sequence sustained engine damage as a result of his driving that fast.
That beginning shot. Flying! "Probably sped up" in a 88-91 Grand marquis 2 lane road 5Miles later got to 130mph look exactly like that!
One the best Realistic car chasing movies ever 👌 Real speed and action 🎬, no CGI!! That Mustang was the only Handling, drivers car in the film 🎥
4:30 From what I know CHP didnt use Fords since the 50s till the late 70s early 80s so it is probably a painted up Galaxie for the movie.
Real classic chase! Would be much better if the original mono soundtrack was retained. NOTHING beats the OG!
Some great Mopar's !!✨✨ Just missing a Barracuda-
Such a "crime" to destroy all these classic cars which are now national treasures.
True, but back in the 1970's those cars weren't worth that much.. Maybe a couple of 100 dollars if at all..
I noticed a 71 yellow mustang parked with the window down
They cut out the part when at the end when he pulled it into the car wash.
"Sir! What happened to your car?", "Oh you know those parking valets.", "Sir, do you want it spray waxed?", "No just wash it."
overall the greatest chase scene in film.
Halicki was a a wild dude
Esse filme é muito bom!!!🍺🍺🗿🗿
I love it it's the original gone in sixty second
Great scene. Huge budget to wrecked al those cars. Im a Mopar guy but thats one tough Ford!
I love ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ 💕 💘 ford mustang ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ 💕 💘
They didn’t have to crash all those pretty mopars, it didn’t make the scene any better
0:21 back up mustang on the right @0.22 & the same cars seen later in the movie
you see it better at the 023 mark great catch
My grd paw had a cornet like that, My cousin i saw the movie at theater then at the drive in with eat my dust .oh back in the Day 🤗
The iconic "Eleanor" chase!
The iconic Eleanor chase!
🏆So awesome 👀 🍀 Got R Done 😎✌️
My wife and I saw this movie excellant
The greatest legendary movie...
But it is too bad to be different from an original in a sound source.
La mejor persecución de todos los tiempos.
That would be cool if there was a Ford Maverick Grabber or a Mercury Comet GT in a car chase.
Did anyone tell halicki that it was too risky to cut three lanes in order to get on ramp with active traffic at 7:42 mark.
GD that was one hard hit kind of wondering if that stunt was planned
@@rogerstlaurent8704 probably not.
That hit was NOT planned and he got jacked up from that shot
Apparently, the police officers lost all ability to drive once Halecki's Mustang came around.

Very nice and cool car chase

In any car built today, the pursuit would have ended much earlier. But not in a 73 Mustang.
It's a 1973 Mustang
Yep, the dispatcher even says it several times during the chase.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Elvis Pressley at 0:16 lol.
