All in all, it's a fun quest line and that's all I care about, since Warframe was never a pinnacle to fall from, but an ever-shifting thing. But you are right they absolutely do sound immature. Three reasons. It's a bit of Modern style writing. Next the fact that they are using humor to destress under a situation that would break most people. Finally, the author clearly wants them to be fun for the player to interact with, having their broadcasting personalities catches as wide a net as possible in that regard.
ikr? Prob to appeal to the younger people, but they couldn't design them too young or hot cause pdf file format. It was funny seeing how gears of war thicc everyone was.
@@Zhakaron Yeah I hear you. Didn't outright dislike them to be clear. And the update is pretty great overall. Just a bit off putting, especially in the group text conversations. Feels like their personalities lean heavily on being quirky and for me, didn't fit well considering the circumstances. If someone talked/texted like this in real life almost all the time I would find it pretty tedious. The replies you are able to choose in these text conversations also somewhat force you to act the same as well which I didn't like.
@@XxXVideoVeiwerXxX Maybe maybe. I would assume, just like Zhakaron said in his reply, that it's modern writing and not just them trying to appeal to younger folk. Happens in a lot of media these days where character writing is replaced with quirky and fun. Overall I like them but not too interested in continuing texting with them. They did nail their designs though just like they did with the rest of the update.
@@TheBloopers30 Nah, quincy explicitly uses modern slang or a pseudo mix. Aori uses emoji language like a lot of modern young people, usually girls. Arthur is the gruff 80s stereotype. So ya, its kinda weird. But obvious why.
I enjoyed this quest but I'm not sure I'm a fan of the characters. Why do they all act like teenagers?
