Preserving the historic route through Vidalia, The Vidalia Rail Trail Project by the Georgia Department of Transportation will be part of the Sweet Onion Rail Trail and the much larger G&F Trail ‪@georgiafloridatrail1196‬ which is more than 10% complete from Madison Florida to Greenwood SC.
