@@angelfromyournightmare8704 no you was way too caught off guard for that. I think y'all just naturally didn't like her from the beginning because she "looks" like a karen which is d umb tbh.
The fact she went to the police multiple times and didn't just take it all back the first time and went somewhere else along with her, in Germany we'd call it "Gesichtskirmes", facial expressions pretty much says everything you need to know. I hope her future contractors aren't being dragged through the same game just because she's bored and has nothing better to do and her neighbors aren't interesting enough to keep track of. Edit: Hadn't watched the entire thing and the "Glad this is over." when she was the one causing and throwing drama is peak entertainment.
@Christopher Moore he was seriously ill but at a party at the station…yeah, ok. Then no receipt from the other jeweler he went to. I think he was full of it, too many stories
I think she's definitely a high maintenance customer and was a bit picky on the repairs. I also think he's a bit irresponsible when it comes to communication with his customers.
4 months is ridiculous, but going to the police is even worse. After a month when she went into the shop she should have gotten everything back whether it was done or not, paid for anything that was done, and taken the rest somewhere else. When she didn't do that, at that point since she was apparently impatient and calling everyday, he should have given it all back and asked her to find someone else. Leaving the timeframe out of it, the amount she paid for what she wasn't complaining about is more than worth what she got. She can take her complaints to another jeweler and get it fixed without being out anything.
I'm surprised the judge didn't ask the plaintiff how she found the defendant and if she'd done business with them before. Cuz why would you hand over so many pieces, including a couple of precious, sentimental ones right off the bat?
What a woman! She has no documentation of when it how many calls she claims to have made and then she contacts the DA before even visiting the shop-then goes to the police ti have him arrested. She is the epitome of a Karen!
Poor guy had a run of bad luck and her walking into the store was the start of it. Since she is saying it was the same problem she took it in for the prong I think she is terrible with watches.
The prongs were on the ring and they don't put new prongs on, its called "tipping" they drop very small drops of gold onto the existing prong. I've seen it done and it certainly isn't perfect but it's much better than losing the stone. I have several rings like this and one jeweler even put white gold on top of my yellow gold which I wasn't pleased about but I just let it go. It isn't too noticeable.
The watch had sentimental value and the lady wanted it repaired. If the jeweller didn't want the job, or didn't feel capable of doing it, he could have declined the work.
She satisfied that it’s over!?! Yet she’s the one that is causing all the problems. Her lawsuit was ridiculous. I guarantee she put reviews all over the Internet about this poor guy. You ever wonder who these people are that write reviews all the time… There she is!
...It is just so fricken comical the way old ladies of a certain era seem to think that they have to '''practically faint''' in order to prove that someone is not telling the truth. If they' would just drop the dramatic effects, it would strengthen their credibility a lot. lol!

This old bag reminds me of my aunt.... Obsessed with everyone else doing their job beyond perfectly, or more just to her often unrealistic standard, but she can barely drive to the grocery store on her own without being completely overwhelmed and needing a drink when she gets home. Like my aunt, I bet she has or had money, and it has completely fucked up her logic/reasoning and ability to cope with super simple aspects of daily life.
I've read all the comments thus far and you're the only one who caught that period. And the fact that his mouth was dry as he continued to slip and slide let's me know he's a liar.
Yea, she says no and shakes her head yes and says yes and shakes her head no. She is overreacting on certain responses from the man she is suing. She is a liar
Re-tip and new prongs are 2 different things. The store I work takes in repairs, and we; access your jewelry(individually if there are multiple pieces), do a write up, take many photots of the item, give you an estimate that is subject to change once our service department starts the repair AND gives the true cost. When the customer picks up the repair, they look at it BEFORE they pay. They also have to sign that they picked up their item(s). ALSO, Coach watches are made by Movado and typically you need a cell and seal on water resistant watches such as Movado. He should've noticed the crown was broken/not working properly, so he could've told her about potential water damage and that the cost may be higher if there is. You can just get the battery replaced, but your watch is NO LONGER WATER RESISTANT with just a battery change.
So he has a moldy shop with employees working there and it takes for him to get sick to possibly do anything. The mold is so bad the envelope is moldy. He doesn't care about his shop or workers and is surprising he doesn't care about fixing the items properly. So he can party suddenly with his illness. 🤔🤔🤔🤔
As high maintenance as this plaintiff is....the defendant seems super sketch. All the bad luck medical problems, mold...seems like excuses. He seems sketchy af. I don't believe him.
That jeweler totally lied through his teeth. I became a certified master watchmaker at the age of 16 and especially with mechanical watches they can ALWAYS be repaired. If it's rusty and some parts are to far gone we have special lathes designed for making parts for watches. Battery or quartz watches aren't repaired because a replacement movement will cost us between 10-15 dollars and the customer will pay between 40-60 dollars depending on the value of the watch.
I worked for a jeweller….repairing white gold or yellow gold in this day and age is NO BIG DEAL AT ALL!! If she said it was platinum then perhaps, HOWEVER, I’m this day and age that shouldn’t be an issue either. This guy is playing her. Notice his mouth is dry? Also, notice how there are all these problems in his store? Mold problems, his finger problems, this guy is a LIAR!!
Yea, he's too smooth of a talker. You can tell he's also got some lies mixed in with his story with all his problems he has, hell we all got problems. 😂
i thought she didnt accept "hearsay", she always says don't tell me what someone else said, do u have a notarized statement?, is that person here? so do u pick and choose what u will allow or does that rule apply to ALL litigants?
What did she except that was hearsay? They gave their stories, the man mentioned someone telling him about a yelp review but she dismissed it without proof. Im missing your point here.
Is it just me or when people stand there with mouth open in shock at what people are saying, it makes them look unbelievable?
No she seems like she's shocked by his lies tbh if she was just shaking her head no that would have been more suspicious
@minnie I feel like it’s more she’s trying to look believable that she’s shocked he’s “lying”. She’s a typical Karen.

She should get an oscar for her reaction faces.
I find when people overreact, the whole purpose is to try and get other people to agree with you but it tends to have the opposite effect
No Oscar she is an awful actor
KAREN!!!!! All those dramatic looks of shock. Wasting Police resources for something like this. Calling the guy constantly.
I was waiting for her to literally "clutch her pearls " 😆
Total Karen. Smh lol
I had the same feeling about her😳!

As soon as Carol Burnett mentioned the DA...we all knew where it was going.

👍🏿
Unfortunately, lack of communication with customers is a national standard nowadays.
His shops reviews are decent. Everyone seems to say he's a nice gentleman. "This watch needs a new watch" LMFAO hysterical!!!
The faces on the plaintiff while the defendant is testifying!
😂
What a crazy verdict. He shouldn’t have had to pay her anything.

Yep, I agree.
Shelley Long and George Wendt from Cheers in their most challenging acting role yet.
When a person over exaggerates facial movements, you know they are guilty! She is a pain in the neck liar.

Histrionic.. great choice of word!
