Actually it's 15 lb test to 40 lb test line and 2 oz to 8 oz lure weight.

The casting version is so strong, i used it for heavy saltwater fishing for big red drum a year ago. Cant wait to take it out again for catfish. Gonna get the medium spinning rod for carp fishing

I have 4 KastKing Kong spinning rods two of them are 8 ft 10 lb to 20 lb medium powered rods with 30 lb braid and I use a 20 lb leader. And the other two are 8 ft 15 lb to 40 lb medium heavy powered rods with 50 lb braid I use a 40 lb leader on those ones.

that is nice! bookmarked it for sure. I like the two piece design, and they have a ten footer option too! something that would work for catfish but also surf if necessary. the green flexi tip is the deal maker for me lol, but those guides are also nice and sturdy.
