Indian Railways Initiates Committee to Address Locomotive Pilot Issues

Indian Railways has formed a committee to address issues related to locomotive pilots. This committee, established by the Ministry of Railways, will study and understand the problems faced by locomotive pilots and submit its report for immediate implementation. The decision to form this committee follows heightened attention on locomotive pilot issues after the visit of opposition leader Rahul Gandhi to New Delhi Railway Station on July 5, 2024. Rail Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has taken this matter seriously and initiated the formation of a high-level committee to resolve locomotive pilot issues promptly. The committee formed by the Ministry of Railways will address the concerns raised and deliver its report in a timely manner.
In an exclusive interview with All India Railwaymen's Federation General Secretary Shiva Gopal Mishra, the news station discussed the issues concerning the committee formed by the Ministry of Railways regarding locomotive pilots.

it is a reaction of Mr Ashwini the railway minister after Mr Rahul gandhi highligted the issues of loco pilot and there problems which clearly shows the fault of railway minister why he didn't take such crucial steps before, railway minister should take accountability for that, and he himself making it a political topic not Mr rahul gandhi. Railway minister instead of addressing the issue trying to mislead the masses.

Already a lots of committee initiated for many matter, but are they really take any step ? These are only show up of govt, no committee need if govt take required step for any matter seriously,
1) There most be AC in every loco, bcz it is very hard to perform duty in 50-52 degree celcius inside loco.
2) Increase Loco Running staff, which will minimise stress of running staffs 15-16 hr continue duty.
3) Periodic Rest most be 30+16= 46 hr, insted of 30 hr.
Had it not been Rahul Gandhi, situation would continue to remain as it is today. This time Rahul Gandhi will make them running.

मुख्य डिमांड जो loco pilot की है इतनी भीषण गर्मी में लोको में एयर कंडीशनर की सुविधा नहीं है रेस्ट प्रोपर नहीं फालतू के अतरिक्त कार्य ,उसको इतना फालतू बोझा लेकर चलना होता है FSD इत्यादि बाकी रेलवे लोको पायलट की समस्याओं का समाधान करना ही नहीं चाहती है

I disagree with the demand for not taking a separate aptitude test for distinct trains. Each loco is different. Hence, a separate test is required. Rest demands are fine.

There is trackman in Indian railway, They are not consider as frontline staff please reach anywhere in india and talk to them and their facilities
मोहदय से गुड्स लोको पायलट के टाइमिंग के लिए तो ये कुछ बोलते ही नही है, सबसे ज्यादा परेशानी तो गुड्स स्टाफ को हैं।

Speed of Train is 130 KMPH , sometimes at NIGHT and need continuous complete concentration at this SPEED and Time ...thats why for safety it should be 6hrs
