I came here to say the exact same thing! Alyssa is level-headed, focused, and results driven. She's marketing and media savvy as well as a deep understanding of politics. Being a lifelong Democrat, it shocks me that I find myself agreeing with her 99% of the time.

First of all, everybody was jumping on Kamala's back for "not doing any interviews", despite the fact that she was the nominee for an incredibly short period of time. Now that she's doing interviews, including on podcasts and popular online media such as The Shade Room, you are now hearing that she's only doing "biased, radical left wing, softball interviews" Now, the same people are upset with Brett Baier from Fox News that he will be interviewing her this week. They say that she has "no policies", despite the fact that she has been saying her policies this entire time, has an issues page on her website and has a detailed 80+ page economic plan, proving that she has policies, but people are intentionally ignoring and not researching. The media is also sane washing Trump, so there's that. The only thing I will say as a critic is that Dems are generally bad at messaging, Repubs say things that stick, regardless of its validity, on that point Alyssa is right. I don't agree with Sara at all, if people don't know Kamala Harris by now, that's on them, she's been showing herself 🤷♂️

The Harris/Walz campaign isn’t “flawless”. There’s no such thing as a flawless campaign. They’ve run a solidly good campaign but Harris should have been prepared to answer the “How will you be different than Biden” question. Personally, she needs to talk more about how she’ll help lower everyday prices and what will she do differently regarding immigration beyond saying she’ll sign the bipartisan deal that tRump helped destroy.

Perhaps The View can let people outside the U.S. know and understand why Americans have to register repeatedly for elections? I fail to understand why people that have voted in the past have to register again. In South Africa, you register once, and you're on the voters' roll until the day you die. You are still allowed to vote in the general election even if you have changed your address and forgot to change your address for regional and provincial elections (which is a simple online application, which takes 24 hours to change you to your new voting station).

Ana and Sunny really need to stop treating this like a clownshow and my-opinion-is-influential-only show, Sunny needs to stop correcting, interrupting and as I always say, if I were Sunny's daughter I would be the first one to say "mom, work on your listening and generalization skills, you were better before!" Chris Christie said it best to Ana, you are not Obama! And Whoopi needs a vacation, she's just riding on previously respected glory and fame. No moderation skills at all, Joy Behar should always be in her seat and Whoopi should have a couch in a corner to observe and nod away!

@@sheldoncole7276 I can respect that for sure. I feel her moderating skills are getting impacted by her own thoughts. In comparison to Behar, which we may certainly do as she does host the table as well, Joy is so much more profoundly outspoken than Trump but has immense listening skills and let's thew view be the view. Whoopi can have strong and good opinions but they tend to get diminished when she swoops in and starts correcting and acting like grandma more than moderator.

Sunny can’t handle anyone pushing against her. The public did not at all want Biden to run and one of Kamala’s selling points is she’s not Trump and not Biden. I agree that she should be more than willing and prepared to separate herself from Biden. Who was an amazing president, but is just too old.
