Thanks for raising the point. I also purchased IMTT1500 recently and was scared to see only one vent cum water level indicator. The answer is hidden inside the sealing cap. The old sealing caps were completely sealed, but the new one has a rectangular vent at the bottom of the cap and there is a hairline vent at the top around the cap. According to Exide, even you can close all caps. There will be no issue with gas concentration they can pass through the sealing caps. I tested the cap by blowing it inside the water and bubbles were forming which means gases can be pass through. They did this because they want you to check all cells with one water level indicator. But there is another problem that may occur with this kind of sealing cap, when the battery is in transit! You have to do it carefully otherwise it will spill small amount acid. Even you should not tilt it at home despite the caps being closed. Thanks.

Hi, I bought exide 150ah batteey and they gave 60 month warranty but on the battery mentioned as 54 month but seller is saying 60 month 42 replacement and 18 month pro rate.is that genuine?
Sir I have purchased recently exiced gqp 850va inverter connected to 150 Ah short tubular excide battery .. load is running finely. but there is no beep sound while current goes off and battery is consuming.. tested in both normal and ups mode. no sound. contaced delar about the beep sound. i was told that recently all excide inverters are soundless . they don't make any beep sound anytime.. is it true ? little bit confused.
