ColonelSmoke A lot of people think of Napoleon as a tyrant, alongside Hitler and Stalin (the ignorant ones at least *cough*America*cough*) however, he abolished Slavery about 50-60 years before America had a civil war over States Rights and Slavery (It's both, I don't feel like having an argument about the Civil War on a Napoleon video). Vive l'Empereur! (I am probably butchering the French very horribly. Oh well.)
***** You did not, Hail the Emperor ! in French is Vive l'Empereur ! ^^
LaPoulette That's good to know having no education about the French language.
TheWhiteFaction I've always been of the opinion that his defeat was a disaster for Europe on the long run. What a grand sight it would have been, a united and successful napoleonic empire... Instead we had two world wars, and a vassalized, self-hating, so-called European Union. I'd much rather call it a union for the alienation of all european nations.
France needed napoleon in ww2
so greatful
Goodbye my children! I am leaving

My enemies are many, but I am without equal
@@rmcewan10 But my equals are none. ;)
@@HauteGameFR it’s literally “I do not have an equal”, I suppose we could also say “I have no equal”, but yeah you’re right, I think it’s called chiasmus or something where you have those corresponding words at the end of a sentence, “my equals are none” sounds the best
@@rmcewan10 It is what he says in the Napoleon TW trailer, that's what i was refering to ^^
@@HauteGameFR oh right lmao haha, I completely forgot, there’s just a bunch of French comments here and to kill time I was going through translating them
Good video
