I did a Jimmy style "clear prop" on a check flight resently. The instructor laughed and said "clearly you watch Jimmy's world" 🙂 I need to get me some Jimmy Merch. Hopefully you ship to the UK.
Jimmy, check to see if Cameron’s gear door is being pulled down by aerodynamic force. With that contour on the bottom that might be the problem. Jack it up and pull down on it or run a very powerful leaf blower down the surface and see if it gets sucked down. The hydraulic cylinder might have a bad seal on that side causing the leak down.
Glad to see Pablo is going to be used to train future AC techs. A great use of this plane that would have probably never been able to fly again. Thanks to you and your forklift abilities....lol.
Dude, on the side view when you took off , you could see the corkscrew of vapor coming off the props when you cut the brakes loose and started rolling. Very cool. Much love. It’s great that Pablo will have a breath of new life and be used to train new folks. Mission accomplished. 🤙🇺🇸
I am so glad to see you taking off on grass. I have an Ercoupe on a grass strip and I wondered why it took a lot more runway to take off on grass. You made that clear.
This is why I want to do a skydive before I get in a plane to go somewhere. How many people can say they have only ever taken off in a plane and never landed in one! lol
@11:48 You can see the prop wash/ vortex out the the window. Very interesting, I don't fly in light aircraft, so I've never seen that before. Does that happen often? I'm guessing it was due to temp, humidity, and sun light being just right.
it would be nice if you could get some pic/vids of Pablo after the kids put it back together. Super nice if you could visit the school and talk with some of the student/teachers.
Had to chuckle a bit there Jimmy, "85 degrees at 10 am here in Fla"...I'm sitting here in central Ca at noon and it's 100 outside right now...🤣😂🤣 DP is a GR8 "taxi" plane! Gr8 to haul fam and peeps around!!!
Jimmy, love your stuff!! Just a reminder, straight in on uncontrolled fields is not the safest. I know it’s your home field and you’re probably very familiar with how the traffic is, but we’ve had a few accidents recently in GA, most notably a fast twin taking out a 152. Always best to circle to a pattern :). Keep up the good work brother!!
@@therealjimmysworld I think he was talking about your final arrival into Plant City 😘 Did you already sell the Apache? I'd be interested. I had an Aztec E/F and the Apache would be a great in-between.
You can tell that you have some humidity when you see the moisture being pulled out of the air by the prop tips. That's the kind of video I like, a flying video. Thanks Jimmy. Nothing wrong with shaming them when they are gouging you on the price of fuel.
Man that Apache is just awsome. I realy love those "veterans" and the Apache is one of my favourites (along with Baron 58) Happy landings from Portugal. You realy "butter" that 2nd landing
Audio note…you might consider adding a RF choke to the power connection on your headset/comms panel to knock out some of that noise. Worth a try. What could possibly go wrong?
I reckon that's not an RF issue but rather a traditional ground loop, very much AF. Staring at a wiring diagram with the recording equipment added might give some clues.
I wish I lived in FL so I could volunteer to help. I'm 100% disabled with nothing to do except cut my grass and look at my pool that no one uses. #savethe310
Finally available! Ordered two shirts: "What could possibly do wrong" and "Clear prop!" I'm gonna wear these to my model airplane club port. We are a bunch of 'idiots' flying vintage model airplanes and still experimenting all around for almost 46 years now!! So what could possible go wrong huh? ... ha ha ha! Now going for a bit more serious.. it still amazes me that your fantastic channel does not exceed the 1 mil subs. Your video's are amazing just due to the fact that it contains nothing more than passion about aviation and therefore freedom of opportunity!
Right rudder! You seem to always let the right turning tendencies drive you left on the takeoff roll and rotation, add in some right rudder to maintain heading and you won’t be cross controlling it with right aileron trying to stay on your track! Cheers!
Always love my "Jimmy" fix!! I have been anxiously awaiting your next video and it didn't disappoint. Glad Pablo found a new home and will train future A&P's. Look forward to hearing about the future of Mighty Mouse. Love the new merch. Ordered my first Jimmy's World Clear Prop t-shirt. Time to fly!
It’s a “crazy big ‘ol runway” because Lakeland was Drane Field back in WWII. You also meu be interested that there was an airport in Tampa, where Bush and USF are located.
That was a lovely series of short flights that took me right back to my flying days in light aviation when I was P.I.C.. Your running pilot narratives were exemplary, and fully what I learnt and practised right through C.P.L. including my Twin Rating at Ardmore Airfield in Auckland, New Zealand. More, please. Your "GUMPS" check was slightly different in order, but in effect was the same. Our routine was "BUMPS" (Brakes, Undercarriage, etc).
You fly like I drive, with a trout pout. I was driving past Reno Nevada when my daughter asked me if I was enjoying the road trip. I said yes. She said, well tell your face. Lol
Pretty cool how Lakeland and Plant City runways line up like that..Like they planned it or something!! Guess that bird wanted to play chicken with you on the runway!! Excellent content, thanks!
Fantastic stuff, as usual! Fascinating stuff for you and the channel. I wish the aircraft luck in Texas! I'll let you know if I see her down here. Kudos from TKI!
You said….”it had so many problems I’d never feel comfortable flying it” I propose that if you took apart any airplane of that age you’d feel the same!
Hey Jimmy! Crazy I randomly found this video but I work at the flight school/A&P school that the Aztec ended up at. I can shoot you updated pictures of it all back together if you want! Cheers!
I really miss seeing you go out and finding abandoned airplanes. Love seeing the current videos as well. Just wondering if you plan on finding more airplanes?
The dude and the kid trying to buy the airplane reminds me of the scene in Made in America where the guy was trying to take off overloaded on a short runway!
Your "self talk" is great. Keep up the safety talk. After all, "What could possibly go wrong?" if you talk it all out and anyone else OR YOU could catch out something that sounds wrong? ;-)
Exactly what UK police drivers do, during training. It’s amazing to listen to; how they described exactly what they are doing, what they are approaching and what other traffic is up to.

AWESOME!!! And yes :) We finally ship to UK! Clear Prop!
@@therealjimmysworld Jimmy on holiday??
Adios Pablo. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.
LOL
Thanks for the ride... hope the new home for Pablo goes well.
I mentioned the same thing in his last video. He should mount a GoPro under there so he can see what happens in flight
Glad to see Pablo is going to be used to train future AC techs. A great use of this plane that would have probably never been able to fly again. Thanks to you and your forklift abilities....lol.
Right on, right on Jimmy !
@ 11:49, the power up, you caught those vapor trails off the prop tips, through your side window! Awesome!
I saw that too and had to rewind to see ut again.
Recommend not touching flaps until off runway. Some have inadvertently selected gear handle instead of flap.
Clear Prop !
Greetings from Brazil !
👍😉🇧🇷

That was super cool! Welcome to Florida humidity! lol
Been there and done it. I live in NC and it’s almost as brutal.
I am so glad to see you taking off on grass. I have an Ercoupe on a grass strip and I wondered why it took a lot more runway to take off on grass. You made that clear.
Thanks for Pablo. Hopefully we will get him back together soon. If ever in or near Dallas Fort Worth stop in. A few fans here. Cheers!!
You can tell a good pilot, his number of landings and take offs are exactly equal! Thanks for this, always entertaining!
hahaha, yeah, you always want to stay balanced on that number! hahaha
This is why I want to do a skydive before I get in a plane to go somewhere. How many people can say they have only ever taken off in a plane and never landed in one! lol
All that up and down business would absolutely destroy my eardrums. Enjoy the video Jimmy keep them coming.
yeah, it does. That's why you see my mouth opening all the time to pop my ears from the pressure changes
That's why the coolest pilots always chew bubble gum. It helps with the pressure equalization. :D
@11:48 You can see the prop wash/ vortex out the the window. Very interesting, I don't fly in light aircraft, so I've never seen that before. Does that happen often? I'm guessing it was due to temp, humidity, and sun light being just right.
very cool!
Noticed that too. Was wondering if anyone else saw it.
Oh, yeah I saw it and replayed that part a couple times and commented on it, too!
I wish you could post more!! I love watching your channel!!! Thank you!!!
Great video Jimmy! Always love seeing you post new ones. Can’t get enough of them.
it would be nice if you could get some pic/vids of Pablo after the kids put it back together. Super nice if you could visit the school and talk with some of the student/teachers.
Awesome flight. Such a sweet little twin.
And $5 for gas beats $7.79 a gallon any day
Unless the fuel used on the detour to get the cheap fuel offsets the savings once you are home. ;)
@@Jigsaw407 but you can buy happiness by taking a sweet little plane out for a gas run. I think that's worth the extra fuel
@@davidpoll220 That's a very good point!
Appreciated all of the flying with the details and the cam placement

That Stearman is just beautiful. Very cool pablo is going to help teach future plane mechanics.
Jimmy, you crack us up!!!
Thanks Jimmy. Keep those videos coming
Will do!
Cheers jimmy. Just what I needed after a shitty day!
the spiral contrails of the props @11:48... Gotta love humidity you can cut with a prop!
love flying with Jimmy
Jimmy- you should put ‘what could possibly go wrong’ on all your merch! Great channel btw.....
Bigger go in front, smaller are turning. 1st. control to lift forks, 2nd to tilt back. Multiple types of Forklifts operator since '82
Thank you for the video Jimmy.
Well done Jimmy. Now your hanger owner friend can have his space back LOL. Greetings from South Africa.
The video of you finding it and working on it is what introduced me to this awesome channel. Thank you Pablo
go jimmy go. as many florida natives it makes me sad to see so many big green spaces turned into giant housing developments
Have landed every plane I've trained in at Plant City. Now I take my students there to burn up the pattern as well. Great videos.
How cool is it that we see the vortex on take off through your cam 😀
Always have a blast flying with Jimmy...

Affirm on that! I get so stinkin nervous anytime I go to that field. 99% of those gliders don't have adsb and are super hard to spot from the air.
