Very nice cards Amy. It wouldn't have occurred to me to do a grad card in black like this (unless that was the school colours). However, I have made them before for people when I didn't KNOW what the school colours were and in a case like that this would be perfect! I will definitely keep this card idea in mind. Thanks for sharing this as these are great.

Great card! I love the tip about running the cardstock through the xyron before die cutting. I purchased the 5” and I am not crazy about it, but this tip helps!.

I like both designs. I didn't think I needed the sidekick machine.... but now I don't know. =)
no one NEEDS all the things I show and use LOL - but I will say that I LOVE my Sidekick (and didn't think I would) - it makes doing tons of small die cutting more manageable
lol, Major fault of mine using the word NEED so loosely. Rephrase to "I didn't think I could justify the use of the Sidekick machine. Haha!
