I knew you would turn out some very stunning cards with this collection. Sometimes it's easier to stamp ,but the die cuts are what can really make it pop. Thanks for sharing.

It would be great to add in some perfect pearls in sections with these shimmer powders for a touch of a traditional metallic look. I also wonder how these powders would work dry if sprayed with a sealant or something similar.
I would love to try shimmer powders. It would be a complete disaster. It would be everywhere! Lol

Not a fan of Canson XL. I find that paints don’t blend well on it. Canson has another paper, the Heritage line, that is soooo much better - truly a nice watercolor paper. I love these cards, though! Considering you weren’t initially a fan, the powders really pop and look beautiful. That purple brocade seriously makes me drool. /wipes face.
Canson XL isn't a great watercolor paper - I just use it b/c it's cheap - but when I want better results I use Arches Cold Press - THAT is a wonderful watercolor paper (that's actually cotton - Canson's is just wood pulp)
Prairie Paper & Ink (AmyR) Canson Heritage line is also 100% cotton. I have Arches at home (I must confess, my mom is a watercolor artist so I hijacked some of hers), and love love love it. Just so easy to blend and pick up colors and move them, and it’s a good thirsty paper. 😊
Lovely cards! Do you find that the shimmer powder rubs off after it has all been activated? I’ve seen videos where people say no but others say yes so they need to be sprayed with some sort of fixative. I can’t decide if I want to try them out or not. Thanks!
I don't rub my hands/fingers on cards after they're done so I honestly couldn't tell you. I haven't had a problem with these at all after I'm done tho
