The spinnerbait is quietly making a comeback
Been working well for me in Nor Cal!
It never stopped working 😉
definitely getting bit a lot more for me the past few years over a bladed jig
It’s always going to be one of those lures that will be productive like the Texas rig. It “goes” away because people want to try new things.
All my best days of big fish amd fish numbers have come from spinner baits 🤙 probably my fave thing to toss besides big swimbaits
Great video Greg. Thank you Nick for getting our man out , keeping him safe and getting around some decent fish on a crappy day.
Thanks Scott! we were just happy the crazy weather was over with after the first hour or so. that woulda been tough to put up with all day!
Greg, you need to buy crawfish colored spinnerbaits for the delta.
Bladerunner makes a great one.
Awesome catches guys! Definitely didn’t expect that with the weather. Thanks for sharing.
Some of us have only dreamed of having days like this.
I love this collaboration 💪💪💪💪
That's a decent day. Under similar stormy conditions, we spent all day in Fishermans Cut throwing 3/4 oz rattletraps along the western bank and caught 20+ fish, most of which averaged over three pounds, with one nine pounder. There's a 40" flat that parallels the riprap and typically holds lots of quality fish early to late winter. ...fish up to the island at the end.
I’m going there next time! Thanks! Lol
Any day fishing regardless of weather is always fun we are watching this Friday & the sun was out & the weekend is dry on my way home I already saw the boats going up to our Lake it’s now 90% full it was 31% then went up into the 70’s now 90% & rising. Definitely gotta get out to test the waters.
Gotta watch nick’s point of view now 👍👍
Great catch especially with the crazy weather!
Nice day out, very exciting adventure for sure!
Wow, braving the weather and white caps to bring us your latest adventure! No coffee for me since I'm back from testing out my new Corolla Cross. Nice to kick up my feet and watch you snag those toads on the Delta. I liked how your slow beginning picked up to hook some quality bass. That ending weight is a bag to make any angler proud. (Glad you weren't in your kayak during the storm!)
Thanks for taking us on another Delta ride, plus proving that there are fish in there! 😂
Congrats on the new wheels! The delta has been heating up and I think it'll be some great fishing there this spring!
Awesome vid! Good days of fishing is catching them 🤙🏼
I laughed at 12:20 😂 poor Greg was struggling for a bite. Dam near ripped the lips off that little guy
haha i was happy to have that lil fella
I agree with Nick on spinner bait fishing. I like using a spinner bait without a trailer.
Nice job guy's, thanks for braving the elements for us Greg. You guy's caught a nice bag. Thanks for the video bro.
Thank you sir! gotta thank nick for taking me out
The new Copperhead is a player!!!
Very nice boys!!
I know you were probably thinking about how you would not be out there in the yak when those waves were white capping ha. I know I wouldn't be! Solid outting again GB! Thanks for sharing.
Ending the workday on the toilet watching a new Greg video 🙂↔️
hahah, thats one way to watch
Tip that ive learned from experience. If they are short striking it, don't instantly downsize. First try some scent, using my livescope has shown me that scent is actually incredibly powerful and can turn short strikes into big fish bites.
thats an awesome tip!
Nice bag fellas..I'm mixing in a trap and underspin on these dreary days🎣
True basis, I try to be out one hour before rain, barometer is dropping and people just stay home because they don't want to get wet. Therefore, I'm all by myself regularly.
Great to watch you both on the same video!
always a good time with Nick!
Miss delta fishing. Morning striper fishing then when it’s hot during the afternoon we chase after bass. When it gets dark by 6 or the tide changed then we target stripers before coming home
How far down do large mouth go ? Like as in towards San Francisco Bay ?
Happy Friday y’all! ☕️☕️☕️
Great colab, thanks for posting.
I was thinking man it looks jiggy out there
*Greg* *:picks up the jig*
haha i threw the jig A LOT during that day obv just didn't show all the footage. can't wait for that shallow jig bit tho
@@GregBlanchardFishing yeah I was sad for you when you didn’t get bit on it. Probably when the foliage starts to grow back it’ll be jig time.
Great vid man. Love the heady outro beat
Spinnerbait is always my go to.
Here we go!!!
I just got the DJI MIC. It is awesome. When you are out with a buddy like in this video, you can have a mic on him and you. I got a refurb with 1 year extended warranty for $200. It's a superb audio option.
good call and on future days like this a mic is needed
Making me wanna chuck a spinnerbait , good stuff Greg
spinnerbait gets bit! especially right now if you're in the prespawn
Great video.
I'm getting a bit jealous seeing you fishing while I'm still playing around with the rain and colder weather here in Oregon. It does suck when the guy in front of the boat out fishes you too, lol. That kinda crap happens to me all the time but I love it anyway.
nick usually outfishes me lol. still a fun day out there and spring is just around the corner
That boat carpet is really bad for those bass ??? Nice video though.
Thank you. Great vieo.
I am subscripted to both Gregs and Nicks channels and love the videos, nice to see together, trying to get out on the Delta twice a week this year, I want one of those big bags too
Just checked and didn't see a new video yet. Knew it should be close to time. Just a few minutes later. 😊
watched both videos. Great day at the Delta.
My brother, Nephew and I met you at the ISE show. My brother spoked to you about which Kayak you would recommend him buying in which you told him the Native Titan 12.5X. Just to let you know, we went to Kayak City today. Now we both have the Titan 12.5X..I have spent a lot of money cause of you. LOL LOL.
Gona have fun rigging up our kayaks. Thank you for all the great videos. Keep up the good work.
Greg in a bass boat blasphemy, I say 😂
hahah every so often
It’s nice seeing you get out on a bass boat. Are we going to see you out with Obedie any time soon?
hope so! gotta give him a call and see the status of rootbeer
Morning Greg! I found out why we're seeing so many boats on cayuga. They're out there catching massive, unbelievable northern pike! You should see this one picture, dude. Ol boy got like a 40 incher
Dang! Didn't know they got that big in there! thats cool
@GregBlanchardFishing I dont know the guy that caught it, but I saw the picture on my wife's Facebook, and the thing is massive!
My brother and I just had one of the best bass fishing days of our lives fishing similar conditions. we probably caught 35-40 bass. Our best 5 weighed 25lbs 13oz. Mix of largemouth and smallmouth. Something about rainy and windy days this time of year makes the bass super aggressive.
Let’s go!!!
Nice video, 19lbs is a good day no matter where you at
I got that new copperhead 1st gen chatterbait a and it activats just like the jackhammer! I delayed them on it this last weekend 3/10/24
I throw a mepps agilia number 2 all the time for smallmouth.
Greg, what brand are those pouches you use to hold your crankbaits and a rigs?
they're tackleworkz bait sacks
did you ever get out on a titan x 12.5 with a bow mounted motor? just curious if its as nose heavy as the 10.5 youve been using on your channel
Inhospitable weather? Come to traverse bay in michigan and I will show you Inhospitable weather and while catching trophy smallmouth! Keep up the good work
Thats why I couldnt do tournaments, I hate getting cold and wet
What would it take for you to fish with me in April on a lake in Tennessee? Free guided trip.
That “first gen” stuff just catches bigger fish 🤣🤣🤣
I have to give Greg a hard time when I get the chance 😂
Swimbait would have been crushed
I would have been the first to comment, but I paused the video to pour hot water into the French press with the coffee grounds!
Not everyone can be first to the key!!!!!
@@LakeBeltonBassin - I was just joking.
FIRST!
Way to live well those fish and stress em out for no reason. WTF?
That guy is annoying as hell… also told greg keeping a snagged striper was ok in another vid with him..🤡
What ranger is that?
