A most enjoyable series Anna and René. You have given a very real idea about what Te Araroa is like. It can be tough going, but you guys just crunched on regardless. You were so lucky with the Richmond Ranges, which can be quite miserable when it's wet and windy. It was also a year with very few others on the track. Looking forward to some future adventures from you.
Lol... Congrats!! Thank you so much for sharing your journey. Your vids have been a great tonic during a rather a bleak patch in my life. I do hope that you both can grow some decent feathers over the winter and I'm looking forward to following your further adventures...
Yes, I used to play the Moonlight Sonata, nearly all. In 86 friends drove me from Berchtesgaden to Freiberg, and the first night we first went to an Organ Recital, but whilst talking to the Organist and his Canadian wife, the Priest came running up the stairs shouting, "thieves have stolen the Main Door lock! Walked to the top, of the Feldberg. slept in a Forestry hut, illegal, loved Restaurant on the way down! I lived at Manaroa in the Sounds, and I used to walk out on a full moon, slept on the side of the road near THE PORTAGE then out to Havelock, or down to Outward Bounds, I had friends running the place then. A great lengthy and varied walk Anna, you would have been most welcome at Manaroa it became a Community which I started, well, first there. Built a Chinese Pagoda over a gorge up the mountain....you both did a great WALK.......ROBIN
Great video! Just an observation, even though this is listed as 1080p the resolution appears MUCH lower, are you using a filter which has become dusty perhaps?
Helloo, Thank you for the feedback. I honestly Think it has more to do with the uploading process. As i can only edit these videos on a phone the file size would be way too much to handle for the phone as well as the app. Also depends on the video length of course. Would have to consider very short videos with higher resolution. But experience on a hike is more important than fiddling with videos at the end of the day, I just like to share, not a professional haha. But I'll see next time.🍀☺️
Thank you for sharing your adventures again and I look forward to the next adventure.
Congratulations. I've enjoyed your videos. Good Luck, Rick

If you get bored and feel like making a video of what you had in your packs and the weights that would be interesting.
I'll have a think about it ☺️ surely is something we can do 👍
