As part of our Ferrari 458 Project car, the Turdalia, we install a new Valvetronic Designs Titanium Exhaust, with stainless steel headers and cat deletes. The exhaust removal went really smoothly and the new exhaust installed quite easily. Stay tuned for the next video when we take it out on the road and see what it sounds like.

I love this series. So enjoyable to see mistreated cars brought back to life!
Glad you enjoyed it!
THX for doing these behind the scenes dealer videos...love it.
More to come!
Freddddd !!!!! Good to see you Champ !!! Great talking with you yesterday !!! Can't wait to hear the 1st ride with new exhaust !!! Checked out the exhaust on the website ..... great looking system, headers look insane !!! Great work !!!
Yeah it's a great exhaust and it's fairly priced
Awesome seeing you guys work! You've become one of my favorite channels. Thanks for the video. Hello from Chicago
Awesome! Thank you!
That looks and sounds Loads Better 👍 getting there getting there getting there
Yup
My God that valvetronic sounds awesome right there. Giving Novitec a run for their money for me.
Can't wait to hear 9k RPM!
OMG Dan and crew! I am dealing with the under panel screws on my 360 Spider after a clutch/valve cover job. My mechanic is great, but trying to find even Home Depot fasteners has been a nightmare. I decided to get a Titanium screw and washer set from Genssi and some Ti lock washers off Amazon. Both the Lowes and True Value near me had NO matching screws. I still need the sheet metal/fiberglass screws for the rear clips near the trans bump in the diffuser
Yeah it's impossible to find the right hardware so you just gotta use what you can. There's a 100% chance that bottom tray hardware will rattle out while driving these cars.
@@normalguysupercar Oh BTW, LOVE the new shop 😄
A buddy of mine used to tinker around with rebuilding range rover engines. He had a jar labeled "not quite right" full of rabdom hardware.
LOL that sounds about right.
Cool video as always guys. What was Fred doing in the corner?
Assembling a welder cart
One word: YES!
Lol agreed
Oh, the sound!
Oh yes
Is that bumper abs or fiberglass? You could just plastic weld another layer of abs on it or rivet one.
I believe it's fiberglass
Oh man, blue balls!!! I was hoping to hear the operating/temp WOT runs and the valves working too!
Guess I’ll have to stay tuned until next time… 😂
Yup soon....
It was me. I did it. I did the janky wiring and screwing bracket job. You should fly me out to hang with you guys and teach me the correct way to wrench on Ferraris. Totally.
Lol
Which tune are you using to defeat the cat sensors?
VR
Why does it blow smoke on start up and high revving? Is that normal for these?
Yes that's typical
Does the computer freak out when you do a cat delete?
It will throw a code
Sweet
Hell yes
Factory hardware came off the headers easily because the engine was warm, always key.
That helps for sure
Dan, Dr. S? Looks like someone is gonna give Art and EAG the boot! Good, he deserves it. I can't wait to rub it in his face!
We will see
What is the story with this car?
We don't really know but it has had a hard life
Oh baby! Considering everyone's referring to this car as the turd, I am curious do you guys know what you might be asking for it when you are all set and done and ready to sell?
He's gonna want money im guessing, but maybe you should pick up a box of honey buns to sweeten up the deal
@@thetruthspeaker1978 bro I will bring honey buns, maple syrup (real, not corn starch) and money. But I want a NG shirt and I want it signed cause these guys are low-key famous. Everyone I know (car guys I mean) loves watching this channel
@@anthonyamandac1154 🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍
Lol this is the best negotiation ever
@@normalguysupercar honeybuns, real Canadian maple syrup AND Katchup chips .. with some money. Final offer. 🙂
Secondary Air Injection Delete isn't a thing in the Ferrari world?
They do
It's usually done to get it to Dyno right in the bike world.
This 458 could be The Shop Truck.
Lol true
Deeeeeeez Shrewd Nuts 😂
Lol
Lol the Dr. S comment
Haha yes
Flame map 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🧨🧨🧨🧯🧯🧯🧯🧯🧯🎆 😂
Possibly
I don't get the cat deletes you guys keep doing. These cars have so much horsepower that the marginal gains you get in power don't outweigh the environmental benefits the cats provide. Plus you're just making the car stink more. JMO...otherwise, as always, love what you do with the cars and the channel! Keep going!!
It's not just the power we're after
Environmental benefits… lololol. I don’t think any Ferrari owner is concerned about the environmental impact of his several hundred thousand dollar sports car.
@@WetFartsAndSocks that's part of my point.
@@normalguysupercar Is it sound then?
The best part of these videos is the reminder that there are worse mechanics than me out there, and as bad as these weird hacks and cut corners can look, it’s all reasonably repairable. I’ll find weird fasteners and hacks and pieces of nonsense that all clearly were used as band aid fixes, but nothing as wild as what you guys find. Lol
Yeah this is pretty bad for a non salvage car
@@normalguysupercar it’s almost impressive, really. The remarkable ability to care nothing about an object other than what it represents is truly fascinating. “It doesn’t matter if it’s made of painters tape, it’s a Ferrari!” Lol
Given how janky the bumper and exhaust were mounted, are you now wondering whether or not Josh should have lead the drive on STUBB Weekend considering he was directly in-front of you? 😂
Lol naa.
What the heck? OBX??? OBX made an exhaust for a Ferrari??? For normal sports cars sure whatever, but for a Ferrari??? 😳 How odd.
They did a terrible job. Lol
janky...
Yeah
josh looks like beavis. Dan is butthead for sure. mongloyde sapiens
Hmmm
Someone who takes the time to post something like this must be deeply insecure. I wonder what this clown looks like?
