I tore my rifle down 8 times. Replaced all the O rings stopped the leaks. This rifle worked flawless for 8 years. I just sent it in to Utah Airguns. It was crono around 724 fps. I wish I had found your video. I did adjust the port but maybe not quite enough. I gave up.
Thanks Aaron , I wish I saw this before I basically gave away my MKI for $300 about a year ago . Great fix that FX should rertro fix on their old rifles .
I had exactly the same problem with my first FX Airgun. It was the FX Royale 400 in .22 cal. Somehow the barrel had spun just a tiny bit so that the port wasn't aligned properly. It cut the pellet velocity down to about 450 FPS. It took me a long time to figure that out and get it corrected. It was a simple fix but not anything I was thinking about because I was a rookie PCP owner and didn't really understand how things were suppose to work.
I have learned of tons of problems with FXs from viewers over the years. Yet none of the Major FX sponsored players ever talk speak them. I wonder why? Thanks.

Nice one. There's a very vid on mk1 wildcat magazine cycling if your mags are being marked up there's a very easy fix. I have a mk1 and it's my go to gun I love it
Very informative video , i dont have a wildcat but do have a FX Crown Mkll which is brand new and did have to go back to the supplier due to low power i do think they are slipping a bit and all the videos they do are all about working rifle they dont show the things that do go wrong and some of the faults.
One thing about FX is that many people on UA-cam are paid by them and can only say great stuff, or they have been given free stuff and therefore cannot say anything bad about them, or they own FX products and are just trying to follow the crowd and will only say good things. But I was taught that "if it sounds too good to be true it is. Thanks.
@@briant6669 I sometimes wonder if FX offered me money and free guns, would I then only post positive video about my FX Products. Aaron im glad you got it working buddy but FX company sucks. They should have never had you go through this bullshit they should have fixed your Wildcat or gave you a new one. Thats the reason I never bought a FX GUN and thats why I own EDGUNS.
My impact went back 6 times because of a faulty reg. They never fixed it, refused to give my money back and charged me for the shipping to return it each time totaling $420. FX is garbage.
I have a off topic question , where did you purchase your p35 at my wife is interested in one but can't find any place for sale besides at krale and they're out of stock.
All my Artemis guns have come from Krale. The are the only distributor I can find. The fact that they cannot keep them in stock is testimony to just how great the products are. You could try searching SnowPeak" to see if anyone is carrying it under that title. Beat of luck.
I have never had that problem and I checked UA-cam and I found videos on trigger adjustments that may help. Just type in the search "fX wildcat trigger adjustment" and they will pop up. Best of luck.
Hey brother, I see you have added baffle modules on your barrel. Do you think they are worth the cost? How many would you recommend to get "mouse fart" quiet if worth the cost..
The extra baffles did make it queter but looking at them I must say they are not of the best quality for sound damping. For the money there are much bEtter choices. Thanks.
Hi Aaron, I just got a Wildcat MK III Sniper BT in .22 caliber. Would it make sense for me to also buy a .25 Maverick Compact? I know it is all preference but I am new at this and I would very much value your opinion. What are your thoughts? I know I could buy another barrel for the Wildcat but I don't want to mess with tuning and all of that. Thank you, Sir. -Jason
It depends on what you are going to us it for and how often. .25 cal is a lot of lead. I find that for pesting and hunting I use my .177 75% of the time, my 22 cal about 20% of the time and my .25 cal about 5% of the time. For target practice at the range (shooting out to 100 yards) I use my .25 cal about 50%, my .22 cal about 40% and my .177 around 10% of the time. In my back yard I use my .177 about 90% and my .22 about 10%. I would recommend you determine just how many uses and advantages the ,25 cal will have over the .22 Wildcat before purchasing it. . Best of luck.
Buy the Wildcat MK 3 Compact BT if you are hunting. It's a Maverick with properly protected components and gauges. I have the .30 Cal Maverick Compact and I'm sure I'm going to bang the gauges off one day in the woods.
I don't know much about the Mk2 or Mk3. But I know you have never owned an Impact Mk1 or Wildcat Mk1. I have owned both and I can tell you that they are nothing but problems. My Impact is being repaired right now for the second time at FX USA. Flaws indeed!!!
I think that there are some serious flaws in all the Mk1 FX products. They are test products to let them know what to fix in the later Mk2 and Mk3s. Thanks.

I have had FX guns they are very accurate but not dependable. Daystate and Taipan have been great…
