    I love the fact that Dan doesn't take his focus off his pupil for an instant. He is just so passionate and driven. My short game was in tatters.. just enjoying the game so much more. That says it all really. many thanks Dan . Love your books btw.

    Love these video lessons. Mark is typical of where so many golfers are and therefore very relatable. 👍🏻

    Thanks, Dan. As always, another awesome lesson with a good player. I have your book and have been following your instruction videos for some time. Both are wonderful and have improved my game substantially. I'm in my late 70s and like most golfers my age, need to focus on my short game rather than long, heh, heh. Your three-phase system has helped me immensely and I continue to score in the 80s on my local course. Thanks, so much for all you are doing for all golfers, and particularly, senors like me.

    Dan is probably one of the finest teachers of the game. It is not only his knowledge but the way he conveys it. He makes the short game enjoyable.

    Dan great video again thanks. I’m 18 hcp got your book and on my second time of reading. I’ve got Ping 410 irons with Pitching Wedge = 44.5 degrees Utility = 49.5 and Sand Wedge = 54. Would you recommend getting a 56 degree too?

    Insightful, any tips for having game improvement irons and wanting to chip or hit and run with 9 or 8 iron … ball seems to come off face quicker and hard to predict or feel???? Maybe just get forged gap wedge?

  • @LasVegasSteve

    I felt all throughout the video that Mark’s backswing was too short. Legs seem to drive on most shots too. This is something that you’d usually correct. Was this not focussed on because he’s a higher handicapper and could have become overwhelmed?

      I thought exactly the same, longer and slower, is what I’m usually thinking, I just finished Dans book this morning

      Grip looks about a ten you can tell he’s new to golf given time and effort he will get there he needs to relax a bit mote as well

      @peterhadley2875 2 дні тому

      Same question and he didn’t really mention ‘release 2 and 3 release points. ‘ I was thinking that was because he came in wristy. Also he seemed to rush his swing but slowing down and letting the release 2 club head “ drop” was not mentioned. I assumed this was because not all things are appropriatel to say to all players.

      What about the whippy shaft drill? I believe it was meant to cure his tempo and hitting action from the top down?

    what would say about chipping with stronger iron sets like t200's for example, I don't use pw or 9 iron because they're just so fiery off the face.

    29.07 seconds, kind of robbed him a bit. Taught him a release one for half an hour and then hinged your wrists massively whilst using the flexy training aid. A side from that, best short game coach around

    I don't think he means to do it, but there is something really unlikeable about Mark in this Video. Seems argumentative and as if he thinks he knows it all

    He’s been watching Dan all this time, yet seems to not have taken anything from the lessons. Especially club choice. Having said that you can’t beat being shown in person.

      That’s why he went to see him. His short game was inconsistent as he did t now how far other clubs go. If this is the case you stick to one club and vary the pace. I’m sure you are a self taught scratch golfer aren’t you? 😂
