- Welcome to 23rd Garage, in today's video we try to finish up polishing the old 1959 Cadillac Sedan but get distracted a lot. We had to help dad out on his most recent little project and also helped the Motorhead. co crew on the Mazda Miata custom wing. We also can't forget the stray pup that we found in the lot, who was begging for attention from everyone all day long. We got a few things buffed out and have to repaint one of the doors. Yuri tries buffing but is absolutely horrible at it, he should stick to framing. We should have all the parts for the Infinity soon, so hopefully, we can jump back on it and finish it up. I was wondering about your white car with the soft paint, can you put it back in the booth and bake it with heat over night or for a while to help it harden? Use water with that nib file it'll help with the polishing however you find nothing works better the a good old fashion razor in a lot of cases. I would not use that de-nibber on run heads it will rip them off. love the new channel cant wait to see what y'all come up with.

that Cadi is an awesome motor, bags of character, but the wheels look real sad, so small, if that's what its going to keep, what's the under body like rust wise
for modern car entry we use a length of steel pallet strapping with the plastic type taped either side to reduce damage to paint, leave a loop of the plastic type at the end going into the car to get round the door release handle and open from opposite side of car, so push through passenger door to open driver side or visa versa
some older models with wear and tear might even allow the odd window to slip down a tiny amount for access, all ways worth a try first before having to force a door top
I wish you all many great repairs and for yalls shops to remain profitable. You all do much gud by charging some a small sum who are in a bad way
