Thank you for the tutorial! I am currently using this theme and trying to set my blog up. I am wondering how to add the cover photo to the blog posts (the photo shown above the blog post title) can you help with that please?
Hello Sierra. Thank you for your comment. I think you are asking about how to add a featured image to each blog post, right? You do this by going into the editor for each post and selecting the 'Featured Image' tab on the right.
Hi Thanks for the assistance. This is very helpful to me. I want to get rid of the big picture above my post. It is a picture of my latest post each time and has writing all over it. eg uncategorized, date, post title. The actual post is good just as I want it. I just want to get rid of the picture above. Thanks
Hello Estelle. Thank you for your comment. To get rid of the image above your blog post, go to 'Single Post' on the theme customizer, and untick 'Show Featured Image'.
Hi, Good info! But I have a question. On my blogpage my featured images are not on the left side like yours but come above the blog as a big image but I cant find how I can change them to on the left and small like yours. Do you have a tip for me? Thank you!
Hey John, I'm looking at the videos for customizing and I'm on the General Layouts customization. You show the video with a sidebar in the website but there's no sidebar in my set up. Yet. Can you clarify?
Hello Jody, to get a sidebar on your site you have to place a widget first. Jump to my video on 'Widgets'. A sidebar appears once you place a widget on the left or right.
@@newblogr1260 Thanks, I chose to do the sidebar pop up from the left side with the hamburger stacked lines. I'm curious though, how do you set up the menu at the very top of the website page that says setup menu? I couldn't figure that out any where. Thanks so much
Hello there, thanks for this video. I'm looking for a way to change the "read more" written inside the button of the posts. Do you happen to know how and where I need to go to change that? Thanks! New subie here
@@newblogr1260 I do have the pro version, it's just that I can't find WHERE is the button, so I can change the text. I did all my site, even woocomerce. Everything is set, but these texts. Do you have any ideas?
Hi. To control what posts show on your homepage, you need to have a static page. On the static page, create a query loop block. In this block, you can set a category and number of posts
Hi, you go to the post and click on the image you wish to change, then click on the 'replace' link in the toolbar. You can upload an image from your computer to your website.
