the chorus probably had a base for the girls to sing over (or pretend to sing) that obviously wasn't played. I guess it makes them free to focus on dancing. Nadine was trying to sing the second chorus though
Exactly this. The chorus is usually always lip synced for pop concerts like this, and some of the more choreo heavy songs will be entirely lip synced (On the Metro was lip synced in its entirety on this tour. You wouldn't have been able to tell, because the raw vocal recorded was very convincing, but there's a video from Manchester where Sarah forgets to bring the mic up for her line, but her vocals carry on). I imagine that for the above performance, the chorus vocals were still playing in their in-ear monitors, so they couldn't tell it wasn't playing for the crowd.@@Teletubbo89
