and the biggest i encountered was 2 frigs, 3 cruisers, and 2 battleships while taking a shortcut through low-sec in my proteus. lets just say me and the guys in the battleships just went our separate ways after we all ran out of ammo.
Nice fight! You're crazy for sure, o7 from that annoying stratios dude that terrorised you in Branch. I was the one who fought your ishtar and won in 7% structure :)
Good job, very nice fight and it was clear you were really calm while playing this down, good bait-tanking and target choosing(apart from the tanaris at the beginning)! small tip: you can actually set a keep at range distance by rightclicking it above the overview, it would spare loads of time
I did what i could managing targets, bait tanking and not getting popped! Totally forgot to set the shortcut for keeping range and was too busy during the fight to tweak it. Thanks for the tip!
"You see, killbots have a preset kill limit. Knowing their weakness, I sent wave after wave of my own men at them until they reached their limit and shut down. Kif, show them the medal I won."
great fight. liked how he managed his cap after his booster ran out of charges. Also, used his shield damage to keep them baited in. Once they lost half their strength they should have disengaged as they were not going to break his tank. Poor leadership in the inty fleet. Well done!
looked like it when they were loosing they looked to get out so no bubble :) Interdiction clones usually have no implants, so being podded is the quickest and easiest way to reship.
OMG bro that was epic we’ll done I’d lose my nerves probably in my tengu. Like how you played with them turning off shield boosters and going into your armor. Risky but balls of steel!
I believe they were on the offensive side of the fight and being careful is not what they were thinking. Also they might think i am going to run out of cap boosters soon after such a long fight.
I tried to become good at pvp for more than a year. After that periode I realised, "I'm just shit at pvp". I still sometimes dream of being this op 😉 well done.
Noob Visions try to do ratting, it's a nice target practice, if you can't with that try to join a fleet in your corp, there will always be someone that is willing to help you :)
loool for a year :D bro year is nothing in eve online u must spend 3-4 years if ur IQ not lower than 100 . if u will fly 3-4 years every day solo or 3-4 pilot fleet u will be not bad pilot. If u want be good u need to spend much more time or have much higher IQ and if u want to be like 98% of biomass just play like u want rat alot and sit in dock when neuts came
i joined the game recently because of videos like these, but got stuck just like u in the highsec grey zone where its just so dull and its like a different game, got no idea how to join epic fights and actually do something noticable
Fantastic play, so calm under pressure. Props~ I woulda seen my overview light up like that and i woulda just shat myself and been like welp im dead -_-
Tengu has one of the highest cap regen speeds of any ship in the game when fitted with the right sub systems. plus he's using a gist booster which use less cap.
+VexingRaven dw theres a bunch of ships that can keep up with the tengu and even easily beat it. just being able to run oversized modules on a ship doesnt automatically make it op
or the bubbles that were put down/were down already. Maybe. Also had a question.. I may've missed it but what was the cap booster for if ya never used it; seems like you coulda avoided quite so much armor damage if ya left shield boost on for a bit longer and cycled cap booster.. But that's just an observation from someone who doesn't PvP Much.
Yeah, Im wondering the same thing here. It seems like he very intentionally let his shields get low (and maybe his armor too?), and my best guess is just to bait them into continuing the fight? Maybe by letting them get into his armor he was giving them a false sense of success and thus forcing them to commit to the fight. Otherwise, I have no clue. I'm pretty new to PvP myself, too.
Loved this vid, what a spectacle - nice one. Used to be in FCON long time ago, not playing lately but have to admit this gave me the urge to resub.....although I doubt I would replicate this. Well done matey and say hi to Sarspatient for me :D
Why the hell did the interceptor fleet stay after losing like 8 interceptors? Had it not become painfully Obvious by then this guy was just toying with em?
It's easy when you watch from my end. I could imagine being on the other side thinking i was using ancillary shield booster or running out of cap boosters.

That does look like it, though I suspect he was also running a crystal implant set, as otherwise his tank should have broken under the amount of fire he came under (those 28 guys should have been able to pump out around 2000 dps at least), or maybe he was already under the influence of a strong blue pill booster (or both).
his cap isnt stable, he just didnt have enoug incoming dps to strain his cap (notice the cap booster fitted that he didnt have to use) and when fitting a blastergu, x large shield booster is the way to go
I am pretty sure a griffin or 2 could take this sideways pretty quickly or make it really aggravating. And just a few more TDs would have ended this as well.
Why did you keep turning off your booster? You were fine on cap for most of the way, and you started seriously dipping into armor for all those turn-offs. What was the reasoning?
T3 cruisers are the most overpowered ship in the game currently, dwarfing all other sub-capitals in almost every role, and all at once. Also the enemies attacking him had poor ship/ewar choices, which gave them too little dps to break his T3 godtank.

Dude, set a default orbit range @ 2,500m - it was making me cry each time you went through the menus to do that! Right-click only when you want non-standard e.g. 5km orbit. Good fight though :D
Ironically the Tengu was very close to die at a point, if only a few more ships had brought Energy Neutralizers. Neuts are OP and the bane of any ship with active reps, but people only care about doing dps, more dps, put everything on dps...
He wasn't actually close to dying, he was baiting them with his tank so they would think he was dying. If you watch when he would get low he was purposefully not running his booster
That fit was stable without the cap booster. Even 28 small neuts wouldn't have broken his tank if he had actually used it. Not in enough time to make a difference. He was never in any danger.
That was amazing, why did you keep activating the XLSB only when you were near armour though? was it to make them think you were having trouble keeping your tank up? I don't really have much knowledge of pvp
You could've baited them much much better and you baited them a bit although they pretty much baited themselves on your Tankygoo! Very nice job! I feel like your Faction Shield Booster would've kept you alive had you ran it non stop and may have gotten you into Structure Tank although you would've lived :)
yeah really nice video, awesome footage...but really,...the only thing i can say,...instead of RIGHTCLICKING through Menues to find the KEEP AT RANGE 2500m Thingy...set that as your default keep at range on the Button in the Selected Items...less Headache for you ! :) Nice Video hope to see more...
Idk, skill or decision making don't matter that much in this situation. What matters is keeping cool, calm, and watching that 2000+ or so DPS tank shrug off the gnats, lol. Amazing vid, though!
Maybe not from the Tengu's perspective (which beyond target prioritization seemed to be mostly point and shoot), but organizing such a gank from the perspective of the gankers must have been tough, and I'll bet that even though they lost they still had a fairly fun time.
All 28 interceptors have now watched this video.
When there are more capsules on field observing than enemy ships, you know it was a good fight.
It was a good fight and the guys that gave me pod kills for their pod express home was cool!
13:47 The ceptor that got away in 1% hull comes back to die. So nice.
it is called respect =)
That's how should be played

Only 14 of the 28 Interceptors have watched this video so far...
20 of them have now
28 XDDDDDDD
And some some of them more than once :)
Dont forget their corp/ally mates :D
88Cypro And all their relatives, friends and co-workers :)
and the biggest i encountered was 2 frigs, 3 cruisers, and 2 battleships while taking a shortcut through low-sec in my proteus. lets just say me and the guys in the battleships just went our separate ways after we all ran out of ammo.
Sometimes we get crappy fights, sometimes we get good fights. It's the good fights that keeps us going!
Nice fight! You're crazy for sure, o7 from that annoying stratios dude that terrorised you in Branch. I was the one who fought your ishtar and won in 7% structure :)
I remember that fight! It was such a close one! lol!
Found it! zkillboard.com/kill/52742852/

Amazing, that was so impressive, thank you for sharing, you have made me want to get back into EvE again after a 3 year hiatus..... kudos to you!
Thank you for watching! Hope you enjoyed the video!
Good job, very nice fight and it was clear you were really calm while playing this down, good bait-tanking and target choosing(apart from the tanaris at the beginning)!

what a FIGHT> Nice! that shield tank was CRAZY.
Thanks for watching!
tengu+tengu links vs 28 man gang* is why.
I'll say, good job, pod slurpper! :D
newbies fighting a t3 deadspace fitted blaster boat at 2-3 km range... where do you find these guys? :)) makes me wanna resub
Eve Online is fun, come resub!
Just like in the real world, the idiots drive the economy.
Exacrly, I was a -10 pirate that flew a 3 bill Tengu in low sec and 0.0 and never found easy prey like this. I stopped playing years ago.
The capacitor is VERY strong. Impressive configuration.
How is it "VERY" strong? They only had a small nos on him the entire fight.
+bukueOner I think there was a malediction with neut but I took him out once I spotted him.
The capacitor is strong in this one. :D
Good shit man, nice tank bait.
Thanks for watching!
YES the tank bait I was like "That's so evil" lmao
great fight. liked how he managed his cap after his booster ran out of charges. Also, used his shield damage to keep them baited in. Once they lost half their strength they should have disengaged as they were not going to break his tank. Poor leadership in the inty fleet. Well done!
I know this was 6 years ago, but he never ran out of cap charges, he was bait tanking making them think they were on the brink of breaking him.
Whats up with the red / bleu pointer blings when touching stuff in game? I like it.
Probably from whatever capture software he was using. lets people see what is being clicked on easier.
That's from the recording software. It is for people to track my mouse movement easier.
So many eggs that didn't bother to warp away. I couldn't really tell but weren't all the interdiction bubbles gone by the end?
looked like it when they were loosing they looked to get out so no bubble :) Interdiction clones usually have no implants, so being podded is the quickest and easiest way to reship.
Free ride home =).
Foolish thing to do, offering free kills to your enemy. Fuck that little bitch, warp out and self-destruct, do not feed your foes kills.
OMG bro that was epic we’ll done I’d lose my nerves probably in my tengu. Like how you played with them turning off shield boosters and going into your armor. Risky but balls of steel!
You would think they would get the hint that the tengu is blaster fitted after he popped half your gang as soon as they came in close....
I believe they were on the offensive side of the fight and being careful is not what they were thinking. Also they might think i am going to run out of cap boosters soon after such a long fight.
you know your FC wants you to loose your ship when after 10 die he doesn't call retreat, either that or it was a "Till the death" roam.
Charge! Their FC was a good sport!
this is just insane. I'm in complete awe lol amazingly fought!
I tried to become good at pvp for more than a year. After that periode I realised, "I'm just shit at pvp". I still sometimes dream of being this op 😉 well done.
eveyone can learn to pvp, just need a good teacher, hit me up if you like :P
I need someone to teach me how to pvp... If you're up for it.
sorry for late response, id be happy to get you started, just send an evemail to Spidermanz or private message me on youtube
If u want be good u need to spend much more time or have much higher IQ and if u want to be like 98% of biomass just play like u want rat alot and sit in dock when neuts came
Nice video!
I'm a nobody, doing nobody-things in high sec, but I really enjoy these well done PvP videos. Keep up the great work!
i joined the game recently because of videos like these, but got stuck just like u in the highsec grey zone where its just so dull and its like a different game, got no idea how to join epic fights and actually do something noticable
Join a nullsec corp. I joined Brave and Bovril on day 1 of EVE and was absolutely overwhelmed by all the shit to do.
Good flying, dropping into armour to give them hope!
Fantastic play, so calm under pressure. Props~ I woulda seen my overview light up like that and i woulda just shat myself and been like welp im dead -_-
Running an x-large booster on a cruiser sized ship and not even needing cap boosters... why would anyone run armor when shields are so broken?
because that fit costs multiple billions and he was just fighting frigs. well, there are some other reasons too but im to lazy to list them all
The fit may be expensive but you can do the same thing without the bling mods, just won't tank as much.
Tengu has one of the highest cap regen speeds of any ship in the game when fitted with the right sub systems. plus he's using a gist booster which use less cap.
*****
And that's why it's broken. Why should the Tengu be so much stronger than everything else?
+VexingRaven dw theres a bunch of ships that can keep up with the tengu and even easily beat it. just being able to run oversized modules on a ship doesnt automatically make it op
nice dude, could you post the fit for that monster?
so through that video one thing kept bothering me.....if your tank was stable even with the neuts on you.....why did you keep turning it off?
I presume to make the enemy think they are breaking his tank. So they don't just warp of.
I kept my shields low to keep my enemies interested.
What would you say if told you that the very first ship I piloted in eve (because capsules don't count) was a Tengu?
All 28 dislikes are from the people in that fleet XD
You are what all Tengu pilots aspire to be.
You're my hero
Why those capsules didnt warp away?
Because they are far away from where they come me from, pod express is the fastest way home and they were cool to give me the honor to do so.
Oh, ok then.. now its clear to me. I've been always in hisec, since 2005 :)
Anyways, great fight man!
or the bubbles that were put down/were down already.
Maybe.
Also had a question.. I may've missed it but what was the cap booster for if ya never used it; seems like you coulda avoided quite so much armor damage if ya left shield boost on for a bit longer and cycled cap booster.. But that's just an observation from someone who doesn't PvP Much.

Maybe by letting them get into his armor he was giving them a false sense of success and thus forcing them to commit to the fight. Otherwise, I have no clue. I'm pretty new to PvP myself, too.
Yeah, that's called bait tanking, and he did it excellently. :)
This is what I miss most about EVE... Great video man, thanks for putting it up :)

I could imagine being on the other side thinking i was using ancillary shield booster or running out of cap boosters.
one of the best fights i have seen in eve sub cap i personally run a tengu and loved to watch this fight 10/10
Hi, 7 month old player here - why were you constantly toggling your sb even though you wouldn't be overrepping?
Bait tanking, to make the opponents stay on the field, by thinkin the tengu is crushing
ah, great thinking, did he share his fit ?
A tracklist would be nice. Love the music. Also great flying.
Can't remember where I got the music from. Will try to look it up and update if I find it. Thanks!

he had a fleet booster also, the web was catching people at 18km with no overload, im imagining they were running shield links as well
BTW what is that app close to the portrait that displays the ship and ship kills?
looks awesome
This is what it looks like when 28 sheeps attack a lion :-)
Great fight and great skill !!
dude this is amazing, holy shit, amazing fit play everything good job
Thanks for watching! Hope you enjoyed!
Is that those CODE james 315 guys you just smacked around?
Wicked video bro . Wish I had the skills and knowledge to play like this
seeing as this is a little outdated now, any chance of seeing the fit? Or maybe an up to date fit?
This is why I usually bring a Sentinel on roams...
Indeed, I was lucky to have survived!
Great video! Down with the frigate menace!
Super. And what kind of fit you?
That active shield with the ancillary cap booster nice.
That was awesome, must have been a fun fight. I like that Overview setup as well, if you are willing to share it let me know.
It was a fun fight! I setup up this overview manually when i started playing Eve Online 5 years ago and been using it since then.
Thanks for watching!
Nice one, but why you playing with shield booster with stabilized cap?
his cap isnt stable, he just didnt have enoug incoming dps to strain his cap (notice the cap booster fitted that he didnt have to use) and when fitting a blastergu, x large shield booster is the way to go
GF! I love how you keep them thinking that you are going down at 13:50
i bet they were screaming at their discord "he almost dead, push it!" :D
do you have a fitting i could see
?
I am pretty sure a griffin or 2 could take this sideways pretty quickly or make it really aggravating. And just a few more TDs would have ended this as well.
Precisely what I was thinking. Or even a few Keres', a few ships that AREN'T interceptors.
Then you wont have a whole fleet who are bubble immune... which is very nice when roaming fast around in 0.0
Or any Caldari focused jamming, really. Without FoF missiles, this guy would have been completely out of luck.
This might well be the most beautiful thing I have ever seen!
Thanks for the compliment!
why were you shooting ranisses when there were crusaders to pop? that EM damage was the main think hurting you
It is an omni tank tengu so it did not matter. Thanks for watching!
Why did you keep turning off your booster? You were fine on cap for most of the way, and you started seriously dipping into armor for all those turn-offs. What was the reasoning?
I had no issues with cap, i allow dipping into armor to keep my opponents interested. Thanks for watching!
If he was full shield they would realise that they couldnt win, so by taking some damage he kept them interested. ie he was baiting them
Hmm, ok, I could see that. Just made me clench a bit watching a bil-and-a-half tengu dip to 1/3rd armor.
This doesn't make sense to me. How in the world did you pull this off?! Best pvp video i've seen, so composed, well done
T3 cruisers are the most overpowered ship in the game currently, dwarfing all other sub-capitals in almost every role, and all at once. Also the enemies attacking him had poor ship/ewar choices, which gave them too little dps to break his T3 godtank.
John Ryan I'm crazy for good fights so I try try try!
Why wasn't you useing launchers on the tengu? I mean it's is a launcher boat.
nice to see some one not shield tanking like an armor tank. Unless there is heavy alpha keeping you shields as close to 25 is how to do it
Nice fights and nice tank baiting too. Those regen tengus really do rock!
Thanks for watching!
why run the afterburner at all if your webbed to high hell? save the energy.
Little speed counts, i was not worried about my capacitor though. Thanks for watching!
Suddenly ceptors don't seem so fast anymore.
And this is why you bring logis and ewar...
There si no excuse these days, they should of had AF's, LF's and EWF's with them. Hell bring a couple more destroyers, maybe even a CD, would have helped greatly.
Eh, inty roams are good straight out fights.
They had a bifrost
And at exactly what point did the attacking fleet decide their losses became acceptable......
I can not fly it but can i have the fitting :D ?
Fine example of the difference character sp can make.
Well done sir. Superb fight
Thanks for watching! Hoped you enjoyed!
that was fucking awesome...... CALDARI MASTERRACE!!! :D
Caldari! Caldari! Caldari!
Winmatar...Winmatar
Pretty bad he was using blasters (gallente for the win!)
It's time to feed the Tengu.
Nom nom nom.....Thanks for watching!
Good show mate! Blasters FTW!
Blasters FTW!
Awsome! Kudos! I love Tengus! Cheers from Genstar and Cowboy Bebop's Janeiros.
Cheers and kudos!
if im not mistaken that was a spectre fleet ceptor roam you killed XD i say this as a FC and i recognize Bjarne 1 and a few other names haha
nice work mate , good ship 2 I loved them in wormhole space
That pod cleanup is brutal.
The fact that the pods hung around makes me a bit suspicious... Why did they not warp off -- bubbles were down..
they were mindfucked after that figth, figure your moral
They were self-destructing halfway through as well, probably fastest way to get back to base, since they were probably implant-less clones.
That's why i said they were good sport letting me on their pod kills instead of warping off and self destruct!
+The Ironfist I'd love to see that fitting, it'd probably not be great outside that I've particular fight, but that's pretty legendary.
try setting your keep at range button so you dont have to focus on the drop menu.
what is the music at 5.00 min please ?
Sorry i cannot remember the soundtrack for this video although i tried looking for it.
This a blaster tengu?
Dude, set a default orbit range @ 2,500m - it was making me cry each time you went through the menus to do that! Right-click only when you want non-standard e.g. 5km orbit.
Good fight though :D
Great fight, great vid. The FC of the Inty gang was really bad though lol
This is stunning, great job :) Mind sharing the first music ?
Sorry i cannot remember the soundtrack for this video although i tried looking for it.
Anyone else know the music used?
Ironically the Tengu was very close to die at a point, if only a few more ships had brought Energy Neutralizers. Neuts are OP and the bane of any ship with active reps, but people only care about doing dps, more dps, put everything on dps...
He wasn't actually close to dying, he was baiting them with his tank so they would think he was dying. If you watch when he would get low he was purposefully not running his booster
Did you only read the first sentence of my comment?
yea I agree. I would have ran with a small neut on most of those ships.
That fit was stable without the cap booster. Even 28 small neuts wouldn't have broken his tank if he had actually used it. Not in enough time to make a difference. He was never in any danger.
Amazing ! tell us the fitt ? i tough its an officer fitt or something ?
why you dont us F1 F2 F3 etc... :p
its just deadspace, you can see glimpses of it when hes activating the modules
That was amazing, why did you keep activating the XLSB only when you were near armour though? was it to make them think you were having trouble keeping your tank up? I don't really have much knowledge of pvp
what's the music at 9:40 ?
Sorry i cannot remember the soundtrack for this video although i tried looking for it.
+The Ironfist thank you for at least looking for it :)
You could've baited them much much better and you baited them a bit although they pretty much baited themselves on your Tankygoo!
Very nice job! I feel like your Faction Shield Booster would've kept you alive had you ran it non stop and may have gotten you into Structure Tank although you would've lived :)
28 interceptors bring zero tracking disruptors and at least 14 warp disrutors. Thats a FAIL
I was just lucky. :D Thanks for watching!
And also they forgot that ceptors can warped away when being scrambled or in bunbles
very good video, enjoyed watching them pop 1 after the other
Nice fight, thanks for recording!
Thanks for watching! More videos coming!
What was your fit?
a nice spectacle, and no cruisers or bs in tire region in 00 ? i dont belive that
Well, they roamed to Branch, not like they could reship easily. Thanks for watching!
Everything else aside, that was hella fun to watch. Cheers.
Thanks for watching! More videos coming!
yeah really nice video, awesome footage...but really,...the only thing i can say,...instead of RIGHTCLICKING through Menues to find the KEEP AT RANGE 2500m Thingy...set that as your default keep at range on the Button in the Selected Items...less Headache for you ! :)
Nice Video hope to see more...
Impressive, they had to of been bringing at least 5000 DPS against the Tengu. I guarantee his resists across the board were in the mid 90s
great fight dude, respect
Thanks for watching!
I'm a noob in EvE but this looks very impressive. Also, how do you get colored overview tabs?
I can't remember but i found it on google after seeing someone had them.
Nice stuff and good fight bro.
Haven't played eve for few years now, so it's blaster Tengu a thing now ? or just improvised fit ?
You can fit missiles or blasters. It just happened blasters fit in to what i wanted to get out of the tengu fit.
what drones are u using?
Just goes to show... Skill is a lot more important than sheer numbers...
links*
Idk, skill or decision making don't matter that much in this situation. What matters is keeping cool, calm, and watching that 2000+ or so DPS tank shrug off the gnats, lol.
Amazing vid, though!
befirefly7
That's sort of what "skill" is in EVE you know...
what skills do you need to do this stupid stuff. sorry btu this is lame, get good pls
Maybe not from the Tengu's perspective (which beyond target prioritization seemed to be mostly point and shoot), but organizing such a gank from the perspective of the gankers must have been tough, and I'll bet that even though they lost they still had a fairly fun time.
Good fight, but you do realise that you can set a custom value to the quick button for 'keep at range'? ;)
I forgot to have that setup before the fight and was too busy to fix it during the fight, but yeah...lol..was silly of me.
+The Ironfist you did a great job anyhow! :)
+BrotherBloat Thanks for watching! Hope you enjoyed the video!
How do you set up the custom buttons?
haha that was excellent, proper pvp! Brilliant fight buddy o/
