433mil current jita prices for this crazy cloaky high dps T3 Cruiser. Pretty good imo. Been using this for the last week or two along with the loki for the similar job. Had some great success.

The first tengu I ever lost was fit very similarly. I think I used a damage control over the 3rd ballistic control… love the ship. Still one of my favorite ships in the game.

you can shave off another 30mil or so off the fit if you use ASBs instead of shield extenders. it means more micro management but in exchange you get a free rig slot to plug the EM hole, a smaller signature and the chance to get even more EHP if you can survive the ASB reload.
Yea thats a good idea, I think the asbs would definitely last their full clips vs a solo target.
@@zaqq the two ASBs would give you about 25k EHP (depending on damage type) in 36 seconds (without heat), which is roughly 700 HP/s. an ishtar probably won't be able break it, although against a loki or some other high damage fit you might bleed armor towards the end.

To speed up your scanning, ALT+Scroll Wheel will adjust the probe scan size.
Yea good tip. Old habits die hard.
You can also map your scanner probe scan range keys, mine are Z to small, X to make bigger and C to refresh probe scan range!

@@zikaudeles9249 Yeah DScan is with V by default I think, but I can't remember where exactly it is in settings. But you can absolutely modify it.

For Dscan modify "Directional scan"
For Probing modify "Decrease Probe Scan Range", "Increase Probe Scan Range" and "Refresh Probe Scan"
For ganking ships armor is generally better, looking forward to seeing the loki fit...

FINALLY!!! I had lost all hope for society until I found this video.... ok well sort of. This is the first video I have seen in ages where you dont have a bazillion Cap/PG/CPU modules fitted just to run a XLG booster or get a MWD cap stable.
Jot a dan of the xl booster fits on the tengu, like you say need to use alot of fitting mods. Cheers.
For null roaming like this would it be a good idea to take off one of the missile launcher and loss some dps (or take off the probe launcher assuming you will hunt anomaly ratter who dont need to be scan) to fit a interdiction nullifier and escape the bubble campgate ?

Buffer fits do ok for this job, would need to rejig the whole thing for active boosting. Would work just aswell tbh. If not better. Using the buffer keeps the costs down to as the Tengu loves then shiney boosters :). Cheers for watching man o7

Not much time at all. Ishtars are the most commonly used null sec ratting ships so they are all over the place.
Some nice kills you got there, but tbh i never understood why so many people fly the ishtar this way, i mean yeah you deal rougly 100-200 dps more then a armor counterpart, but you also get deleted easily out of existence.
But i like your setup, i also pyfat a while for getting a proper "delete those afk ishtars" out of existence setup, so thanks a lot :)

I found its easier to kill armour versions tbh. The xl asb shield tank ones are tough to break. Cheers for watching.
They fly them this way because it works perfectly against the rats and being ganked is so rare that losing the odd ishtar is just part of doing business. Trying to fit a ship for pvp and pve equally is painful. Fit it for its main purpose.
that expiration forget was trying to combat log you something from Elite dangerous where you login the second someone engages you in combat
People combat logging in Elite was the reason I gave up on that game.
How do you catch these ishtars? I struggle catching them with a ceptor.
Fast on the d scan and alot of luck buddy. Most of them will be semi afk.

struggle to hit your damage numbers. Even with implants, drugs and overload, im only hitting ur pre-overloaded numbers. Its not my skills, im just shy of 300m. I was using pyfa tho so maybe there is an issue there?
Wierd ya, got a screenie of your fit on pyfa? or jump in my pub chat in game (zaqqs pub) and we can take a look. Also make sure your checking the numbers with scourge loaded, thats what gets the bonus damage.

Always bet on people notnpaying attention. Only takes a few seconds to scan someone down. Most of them are probably bots to so hey ho. Good luck
depending on the region you're ratting in, goinf or the bonused kinetic is not advised
like going into Gurista space, Ishtars will be kinetic tanked
so you can end up doing 90dps kinetic (at best if they have 90% resist)
or 600-750 dps EM cause they're not tanked against that

I’m confused with the missile damage. Why use kinetic missiles if the Ishtar is fitted against that? Isn’t that what guristas are using? Why not use em or something the Ishtar isn’t prepped for?
Swap as needed mate yea. Generally start off with kinetic since tengu bonus then see.
The tengu is godlike if you actually want to do kinetic damage.
I think ppl get lost in what their resistances are, because it's literally damage reduction:
At 89% resist that means 11% of your 1130 mighty dps make it through, or roughly 125 dps (shot from the hip, this is what the enemy's active tank is up against).
Whereas 800 dps vs 30% resist means you get 800 *(1-30%) = 560 actual applied DPS.
If the enemy has an active tank of 60 hp/s for argument's sake, this offsets the rate at which his buffer drops: The kinetic version, he loses 125-60 call it 65 hp every second, he'll eventually break but it'll take a while.
Meanwhile, in the EM case 560-60 is a whopping 500 dps, about 8-9x as fast a rate of decline.
Seriously, if you get to pick damage types, pick the damage type to shoot the enemy's resist hole.

@@zaqq M8 IT might not be glorious. It might not be profitable. But any disruption to a botting in eve deserves a medal. I really do not want to see numbers on report like last year that CCP banned over 42000 accounts for RMT and cheating. It is the ugly truth of eve everyone knows but no-one wants to do anything about it. So if anyone is out there hunting bots is a underrated hero

I've covered it a fair bit in some of the longer pvp vids I have done but maybe a dedicated video would be ideal. Will try and squeeze it in soon. Doing alot of pve atm.

@@feffri1 hey ya I mean I dont use the actual scanner probes, just the Directional Scanner most of the time, unless theres something on dscan in a random area of space away from any sites or stations etc. I went over some stuff on this one which was a general null sec pvp process. Of course you don t shoot KINETIC on an Ishtar - - - > Depending if he is shield/armor fit plus in what space it operates meaning vs which NPC type they engage you swap out whatever is needed...

The navy get more range and have better base application where as the rage has the most dps. Rage is fine vs cruisers when they are under webs imo. But yea gotta use your own judgement for the situation and ship types your shooting. Cheers for watching man o7

When the loots worth taking I do. But yea I dont normally hunt ratters, was really just to show case the fit.

I have max skills for all missiles, also make sure your Tengu offesive subsystem is trained to 5, that gives a massive boost per level of dps.

Rocks, Papers, Scissor's. The wrong fight its GG. There is no invincibility in eve that's for sure. I had easy ganks, tie ganks and crazy ganks where we both just quit because both are low health. LOL

Yea ecm alweays rough when its 1v1 sorta style. Just one of those things thats never gonna be right in the game.
Damn, where are you getting 1130 DPS from. Exact same build I get 361 DPS. I don't think there's enough skill to give me like, 300% more damage lol.
Hey, its actually about skills mate. Couple of things to check first, offensive subsystem needs to be at level 5 and also t2 launchers with their t2 rage ammo and dont forget to overheat to :) Get asked about this alot and planning on making a video specific to it. @@zaqq Hello, im new in eve. I copied your fit and simulated it in game. And draw and drop a charge to the simulated ship, then it show 28.28 dps. If I want to see 1130 dps in simulation, should my skill reach your related level? Another question, why your fitting include so many kinds of charges? Should I switch the launcher with a proper charge in a fighting?
Hello again, I just used Pyfa to check your fit, the dps is 961, if I set level 5 and with charge of Scourge Rage Heavy Assault Missile x1200@@zaqq
@@uyfdtioohey, you will need to set the launchers to overheat mode in game and in pyfa to get that max dps. As for the ammo question, for the tengu it gets a bonus to kinetic missiles so sticking with scourge is usually the best option. But some ships are weakest to other types so its good to be prepared with all types.

Proof that gankers are stupid, shooting kinetic into Ishtar in Guristas space, are you TRYING to do no damage?
Guess you didn't understand the first clip or even watch the start of the second mate but I can explain. I was using kin vs the kin tank just to show it could still be done. On the start of the second clip I start by saying 'this time we are using the correct ammo/dps'. Hope that clears things up.

@@zaqq I think that some people do it to satisfy their ego and earn easy money in the game. In your case, more content is added on which you can earn real money.
Its a good way to make some isk for sure, lots of pimp fit ratters out there.
