yea! when he said he loved the sketches they sent over the first thing i thought was 'joan drew them, didnt they?' and welp. +1 more thing joan is fantastic at. XD that combined with adams apparent puppet MAGICIANRY and of course just thomas' good ol SELF, made the whole project truly spectacular. ^_^
Logans is definitely my favourite especially with how shiny and detailed he is and the whole robot aethetic fits him perfectly Virgil has to be my second favourite because even though he's quite simple it fits him perfectly And I like all the puppets because you can see/tell how much work has been put into all of these puppets

Hi I'm a Thomas Sanders fan and when I saw him post on Twitter that you posted up a video on how you came up with making the puppets I had to watch it and I have to say this is amazing. This is something that has caught my attention and I haven't been into puppets since I was a middle school. I really love how you showed Joan the one who created the designs how you interpreter them and how you made them come to life. I really wish you could do a creation of each puppet because I really want to make my own Virgil puppet so bad. But I love that you help them out in telling the story and like you said at the time you were making them you weren't sure what it was going to be but once you saw it and saw how it came together I think without your puppets I don't think it would have worked so thank you so much for letting Thomas be able to use your help and making his story come to life

I was wondering how his puppets were so well made I was awestruck at the accuracy of the clothes and how well made the puppets were over all. I just thought Thomas had a secret puppet making gift this whole time
I'm amazed by how well-made the puppets are. I flipped out of my chair when I saw Roman's puppet in the video. Did not expect that, personally. Well-done.
What really gets me is the two-toned hair for Virgil. The warm and cold hues really capture his personality! Also, I love that the hood is functional and not just sewn in place like I initially thought when I first saw the video. Great work!
Watching this makes me realize how well Thomas did with scaling the puppets so they looked the same size in the video, particularly with both Patton and Roman being smaller than I thought. You also did an excellent job with the puppets, of course!
i love love love the buttons you used for virgil's eyes!!! virgil and patton were my two faves of this set, but they were all made so beautifully. i'm definitely going to be checking out the rest of ur work, because these were all amazing!!! keep up the great work!!
Honestly, I have so much respect for you! Puppets are(It depends on the peson and the type puppet you're making) hard to make and even harder to move(especially if the puppets are 20 years old). I'm in a theatre group and we perform on a stage in a theatre and anyways last year our mentor or teacher as some call her that way, decided for our group to do something different and the whole play was with puppets. At first most of us thought it'll be easy but soon found that it wasn't the case. It's super hard to move them if you haven't done it before. All puppets were 20+ years old. Half of them went for reapair. One of them was a mouse an it's tail snapped in two after the second time it was touched. It took us a lot of time to get used to the puppets and we got yelled a lot at how we handled them.
All I can say is just.... just wow... I love Sander Sides and I love the work you’ve done on these. They’re incredible, I’m absolutely blown away. Thank you for doing such an amazing job for a series so near and dear to me and so many others’ hearts. ❤️❤️❤️😄
I can't stop freaking out on how awesome this is! The designs were really well done, it looks so good to see them in action too. And seeing how much effort was put into making those, it was definitely worth it 😊

I think my favorite part is how they all look like different kinds of puppets, made of a different thing. Patton being a paper bag puppet, Virgil being a sock puppet, Roman being a typical muppet-style puppet, and Logan being a metal, complicated, mechanical puppet. I think it really represents the type of personality they have.

I bet it was super refreshing for Adam to see the way Thomas and Joan were able to incorporate his puppets in to a amazing video especially considering that Thomas and his team didn’t take the puppets for granted and treated them with absolute care.

this is so fascinating. i watched thomas' video first and my first reaction when your puppets came on screen was shock. i thought it took teams of people to build puppets of that quality! its so cool to see the process behind making such high-quality puppets, and im inspired to learn more about the world of puppet-making!

This makes me think a lot about Joan’s amazing sketches, they look almost exactly as he made them, his art is so intricate and I honestly really like it.
In order of my favorites are Virgil, Patton, Logan and Roman. Which looking at it is kinda my list for them in general but I love the work you did on Logan like he looked like a mini robot more then a mini puppet. I heard Joan did the sketches kudos to the both of you the drawing look fantastic and you translated them so beautifully. I really wish there was mini versions of these we could buy.

Patton being a paper bag puppet, Virgil being a sock puppet, Roman being a typical muppet-style puppet, and Logan being a metal, complicated, mechanical puppet. I think it really represents the type of personality they have.

I bet it was super refreshing for Adam to see the way Thomas and Joan were able to incorporate his puppets in to a amazing video especially considering that Thomas and his team didn’t take the puppets for granted and treated them with absolute care.

In order of my favorites are Virgil, Patton, Logan and Roman. Which looking at it is kinda my list for them in general but I love the work you did on Logan like he looked like a mini robot more then a mini puppet. I heard Joan did the sketches kudos to the both of you the drawing look fantastic and you translated them so beautifully. I really wish there was mini versions of these we could buy.
