This is one of my favorite songs, I LOVE the letter thing at the beginning, it was incredibly sweet, and Carl was actually reading it there and Pete had to get his attention so they could start the song, aw. Plus Carl is just a total guitar beast. Just mindblowing. Wish I could've been there...

I love this performance. It's one of my favorite Libs performances of all time, but I feel as if they either turned Carl's mic down or he needed to project more because I can barely hear him, but I hear Pete just fine. Still, absolutely wonderful performance!

Obviously not the Libertines without Peter, but without Carl either really. These two NEED each other. You don't have to be a genius to figure this out. I'd do anything for these two to realise that. And oh how happy and alive and young they looked back then... God I love Peter with all my soul.
this is y the libertines r the greatest modern band from britain every other big band aint got the live eneregy between carlos nd pete nd im a big oasis fan but lyrically pete nd carlos was amazin nd live they were unbelivable great :D i agree dam drugz :@ lol
the most prodigiously talented band to come out of england since The Stone Roses and the most rock 'n' roll band in the world since Nirvana... i hope they make another album together, the world craves it. This is a great performance too, top class
I love the band for the music they make. It is only pernickety pricks that waste their own time going on and on about how it sounds exactly like the record and other irrelevant bullshit that only they care about. If you do not like it, use your brain and turn it off, we call it thinking. It is very simple, then you can listen to something that you do like and the rest of the real fans can enjoy the music or video and the comments without listening to the intolerant and narrow-minded community which ruins so many things for others.
@bristolcityrocc That's one reason to listen to them, it gives the songs that touch of sadness, but regardless they're brilliant, and am glad to see Pete has been getting shit together.

i recently had the pleasure of drinking with carlos barrat and asked him the very same question,they're letters from a japanese girl asking him to stay at his house when he comes to london and how much she loved the libertines... he gave my girlfriend a flower a smoke and a kiss on the cheek.. ace guy altogether...
