Rb25 272 cams cold start + highway pulls

Rb25det neo with fully built custom head and refreshed bottom end.
272/272 custom neo cams, oversized valves and race springs. PSR G30-770 turbo getting up to 411kw on 16psi.

Those cams sound so smooth!!! I doubt it will sound as smooth on my RB26 though because they don’t have a variable cam like the NEO’s. Just went with 268/270 GSC S1 billets

Details on the exhaust system? Resonator, muffler, high flow cat? 3 inch? Etc.

Thank you appreciate it. It’s 4” off turbo into Downpipe till about halfway to the where it is ADRENALINR resonator and goes down to 3.5” and HKS muffler from a Silent Hi power system

Solid lifters are noisey it’s not the cam lol , rb25 neos are like the rb26 head they both have solid lifters

How do you like the G30-770 as opposed to a G30-900 or G35-900?

I absolutely love the g30-770 on my set up. It spools extremely quickly and very snappy. I haven’t tested anything bigger as I’m very happy how it is atm

They were blank cams which Dan got engineered with the specs he wanted and yep still retained VCT

Head fully yes but bottom end no. Just been refreshed with new ACL race bearings and rings been ground correctly. Crank has a collar, and after market oil pump gear, but yeh still stock rods and pistons

@@yohan1902 I really wouldn’t want any more power with stock pistons and rods currently. Maybe if I went e85 but for 98 octane I’d be close to the limit I’d say
