Jeffrey Henderson | 1st Date | Surprise Flight | Experience |Cutting Edge Helicopters (Robinson R44)

Ok everyone, so I decided to treat a girl I started meeting with a trip of a lifetime on part 1 of our first date! And all I can say is, she was shocked and completely blown away :-). When we turned up to the location with the noise of an engine running, I told her close your eyes, we are going on go-karts.
I had it planned for weeks and was up against the weather, her work schedule and getting an available slot. When she opened her eyes, she nearly had to be worked on :-). She really enjoyed it too once the panic calmed. I can say the thrill of a helicopter flight was such a great experience for me too. I always wanted to go on a helicopter, every time I seen one passing.
The flight was set to see the amazing views of both our home ground from the air (Donagheady and Cullion) where we grew up and finally passing (circling) over her dad’s final resting place (Mountcastle cemetery).
The flight time was 40 minutes heading Southwest against high wind speeds. On route back to the city the Robinson R44 helicopter reached speeds of 150mph. Flight height was well over 1000feet all of time to reduce wind turbulence.
In the recordings, Donegal and far a field can be seen whilst travelling up the valley.
The videos are the best I got considering the distance from the ground. The phone clip of the landing is also attached.
