This is the best UA-cam review of this pedal by a wide margin. Excellent job showing how versatile it is. There are a plethora of videos that show an ultra-saturated high gain sound and fail to show any other side of this pedal.
I am not an overdrive guy but I caved and bought this thing. It's seriously my new favorite pedal. It sounds so good on it's own, and even better to add some flavor to ANYTHING you have on the board. 10/10
THIS. DEMO. IS. KILLER. Great length, not too much talking but not totaly mute either. best of all, you absolutely rock man. beatiful tones from the pedal and great playing. Really sold that ES 345 to me.
I was debating on getting this pedal. There are a lot of videos where the gain is all cranked up. It is nice to see what the pedal can actually do. Love the review and It' s on it's way now.
I watched an interview with Jamie and he said he doesn't like tubescreamers but this is his take on it. He changed it to suit his taste. It definitely seems less chewy than the tube screamer. Nice Megadeth riff thrown in there! I liked mode 1 with the gain dimed with the gibson and mode 2 with the strat. Nice playing too.
WOW this pedal sounds amazing. Earthquaker really did us a solid on keeping it $100. They couldve made this thing $300 and i think people would still be buying it all the time
This pedal sounds great and it was an awesome review. How many reviews go from symphony of destruction directly into a rockabilly riff? Nice job Buddy!
I’m watching your demo as I wait for my pedal to arrive this weekend. I think this pedal will be what I’m looking for, as I have several guitars with a variety of pickups (humbuckers and single coils), and I play both blues and metal, so this pedal seems extremely versatile for all of that!
@@heyheymymind1939 I do recommend it. I’ve actually just sold my TS9 this week. I think the Plumes gives me a good approximation of the “classic” Tubescreamer, but also has other modes, which makes it so much more flexible.
What is the difference between the green, purple or black Plumes pedals? Is it just the colors or are the black and purple special editions of the green one?
Once again great job, watching these tutorials makes me want to go one of everything Then I remember I can’t play for crap So I’ll just keep admiring your skills
I love the plumes! A local player and good friend talked me into one. I play a variety of t styles and p90s and what not but typically only pick up my Eric Johnson Stratocaster. The plumes just sounded perfect through my rig which is a 65 bandmaster and a 2x10 cab. Just incredible
Such a loud pedal on settings 1 and 2. Great pedal all around - Few flavors of colors to fit your rig. If you aren't a big TS guy because it sounds "dark" to you - Pick this up.
Buddy Blues Check out Northland’s version of the ODR it’s called the ODR-C. It has a compression cut knob on it which basically allows you to turn up your gain without getting the increased fizz. When the knobs are all at noon it sounds exactly like the Nobles ODR. The Nordland was designed by the same guy who created the Nobles ODR.
Great review. I'd like to see more reviews where the amps are set ay gigging levels...That's where I live. A Deluxe at 5 or 6 is a different beast than a Deluxe at 2 or 3....???
I don't understand why this pedal gets so much hype. I've owned it for almost a year now and it just doesn't impress me. At one point I put it on my pedal board for 2 month to try and force myself to like it, but I just couldn't. I feel like it just does everything okay. There are so many other pedals that do a better job and some for less money.
“We’ll explain that . . . never.” Hahahahahaha
🤣🤣
To me it's a 1) Blues Driver 2) EP Boost 3) TS808 variant
Incredible pedal.

came for the plumes, stayed for the playing.

Glad you like it! Thank you!!
Best review of this pedal I’ve seen. killer playing as well, I can’t wait for it to come in the mail I just ordered one.
I'm really glad you enjoyed it, thank you so much and congrats on your new pedal! PLAY IT LOUD!!
Definitely 👍
I was debating on getting this pedal. There are a lot of videos where the gain is all cranked up. It is nice to see what the pedal can actually do. Love the review and It' s on it's way now.
Thanks so much man! Congrats on your new pedal

Thanks so much! I love megadeth
Your playing with the strat in mode 2 is deserving of many upvotes.
Thank you! I feel like this pedal was made for single coils in the 2 position
WOW this pedal sounds amazing. Earthquaker really did us a solid on keeping it $100. They couldve made this thing $300 and i think people would still be buying it all the time
Fantastic demo, classy playing, great channel! Getting one of these to use with Gretsch 6120, and yes it will be played LOUD
Enjoy! I used to have a 6120 and regret selling it every day
Glad to see the Supersonic 22 getting some love. Underrated amp.
The MOST under rated fender amp imo
Just discovered your channel last night, love it, just discovered you have an ES-345 too which not many people use coz it’s full hollow.
This pedal sounds great and it was an awesome review. How many reviews go from symphony of destruction directly into a rockabilly riff? Nice job Buddy!
Not many.. for a reason 🤣🤣
one of my favorite channel right now....
Thanks so much man

Do you recommend Plumes?

Just the color, same pedal
5:49 gave me some goosebumps. Neo soul body bumps bro that's my stuff right there. I love finding those extra voicings with the pinky. Amp?
Me too man the pinky is the handiest finger for making any chord 10x better. Im using a fender super sonic 22w
I had this pedal before and I traded it. I just bought it again because of this video. Man, you can play!
Once again great job, watching these tutorials makes me want to go one of everything

Great range of tone with the single coil
Yes! it really expands them
Got rid of my Palisades and bought a used Plumes instead. Less muss and fuss, sounds great. Sold my Fulldrive too, made obsolete
Thanks a lot, fantastic vidéo !!! I want it 💖💖💖💖
Such a loud pedal on settings 1 and 2. Great pedal all around - Few flavors of colors to fit your rig. If you aren't a big TS guy because it sounds "dark" to you - Pick this up.
I got this, and the TS9 was immediately sold.
Same! But the 808
what amp are you using and at what settings? ( volume and gain)?
Awesome playing!! What song is 14:46 ?
Am between this westwood and special cranker. Above all am searching for bright clean sound that can get crunchy.
Damn dude that was some tasty playing.
Thank you!
Quality video! Excellent review! Top notch playing! Keep it up, subbed!
Thank you!
Great pedal. Still like my Nobles ODR but as far as TS style pedals go this one is right up there and super flexible. Great demo!
I think I have to get a nobles now...

Amazing video dude, loved everything about it. Just subbed

HAAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAHAAHAHAHAAHHAHAA
Omg soooooooooooooooo funnyyyy!!!!
@@BuddyBlues great review too. I just happened to see a Borat on Jimmy Kimmel just before watching and he had a suit like yours too😆
🤣🤣🤣
Its other version or why this isnt green ?
Limited edition black sparkle for Guitar Center. Same price
The symmetric setting should be closest to the TS no?
I think so yes
@@BuddyBlues whatever it is it sounds really good
Great review, thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Like the pedal, love your playing...even a Megadeth riff in there
I firmly believe even the most classical of jazz players listen to or play megadeth at least once a week. Thanks so much!
pedal sounds sick af. playing is also sick af.
Thank you!
I was listening to this, thinking "what is he going to play next" ... excellent entertainment 👍
Thanks so much for watching and the kind words!
I hate my 808, considering a plumes or an od-3
Where did you get that color doe ?
Guitar Center
Please Is Black edition o purple??? ...great demo
Ltd edition black i think... same pedal and same price as the original one
Thanks, but in that color it is very cool !!! greetings!!! you have a new follower 🖖🏻
4:39 these are the exact settings my Plumes stays at 99% percent of the time
GREAT pedal
just found your channel and loving it! Almost as good as the beard
Haha thanks so much!
Great review. I'd like to see more reviews where the amps are set ay gigging levels...That's where I live. A Deluxe at 5 or 6 is a different beast than a Deluxe at 2 or 3....???
Killer playing
I don't know.... maybe just a TS808.
yeah man, gooooood one! goood one, love it
Glad you like it!
You’re an awesome guitarist, too.
Thanks so much!
There’s a black one? 🤔
I may be wrong but I think it is a Guitar Center exclusive? Same price as the other one!
@@BuddyBlues but essentially no difference other than cosmetic right!? 🤔
Identical
@@BuddyBlues I just bought a red one earlier.
And you're killing it
Sounds killer. Sounds like Billy Gibbons in a box, imho.
It really does with Humbuckers on mode 2, killer sound
I love your blues, but when you break into Megadeth’s Symphony of Destruction I’m in heaven
honestly me too. It's what I mostly listen to in the car haha
Nice channel. Subscribed.
Thank you!!
hahah countdown to extinction! el yea dudee!!!!
Haha Glad you noticed! Love that album so much
Happy Halloween, I was like #666 😅
the true hero of this video is your Amp!
What is it?
Agreed! Fender super sonic 22, I have a video on it on the channel
Black Plumes sound best .

This was a $99 but I hear you, it isn't for everyone
Yes I was gonna buy one today but I'm glad I didn't,,,got a $50 boss superoverdrive sd1 instead ,,,AND I LOVE IT ❤
So what other pedals do a better job?
Young Kenneth Martin Jason Rodriguez Michael
Lopez Scott Hernandez Karen Lewis Margaret
Does it work for metal 😂
No such thing…..
The music in the background is fucking horrible
No one cares what you think Dave.
