Data analysis in mental health, will shift into the diagnosis of psychotic disorder readily, and also in management patients in the community, using especially voice analysis. I appreciate this presentation. It is not so polished as a presentation but there is time to improve this. I work as a lead mental health worker in central London and we still struggle with the analysis of data that is inputted about the client , so there is a lot of data about lots of clients many facing similar issues and challenges and although each person is an individual the answer for many is similar therefore support workers can be managed far differently if they have access to prior answers of successful outcomes of other clients. Sounds like it should have been done a long time ago. No each support worker relearns the whole case management of say schizophrenia motivation/back into the community and say engagement in work, please include in this medication compliance, well this whole process is laborious and non-effective, pot luck as far as the patient is concerned. So I see that using a database and showing the support worker working models of prior success in say male schizophrenia pot smokers and poor use of time with depression and medication non-compliance. There you go, here's one I did earlier and should form the basis of the cohort of those clients that have the above diagnosis as above. Looks complicated yes it is but that is even more difficult if you begin from scratch, managing each patient that has the above symptoms. Well, that's my idea don't know if it is any use but makes sense to me.
I agree 100% and from another part of the world I have the same perspective and working towards pivoting my data analytics career to apply in mental health.
I am extremely fascinated with this area and I am also trying to pivot into more data analysis roles in mental health. I work as a lead case manager and the recurring referrals have become challenging and repetitive, this, I want to make a change on a larger scale. Would love to see data used in addiction recovery.
