What is the size of your tins and how many layers do you use ?
Your cakes look nice and tall.

I mostly use 6" tins with 3 or 4 layers. The blue speckled cake is 6" wide and has 3 layers and the purple cake with the piped flowers is 6" with 4 layers. The striped cake is 4" wide made with 3 layers.
