Thanks so much, this version is very easy and fun with a finish stitch! Love the finished product bonnie your a favorite teacher as I crochet left handed❤
Way too fast and no explaining anything for the real beginners. I am pretty disappointed.
Kj Bent you can changes the playback speed with the gear-shaped icon in the lower right of the screen (3 vertical dots in the upper right corner of cell phones). This works for all UA-cam videos.
What if you didn’t want to do the shell? How would you finish off the blanket?
I tried to follow you for 4 hours now.Not good for beginners.
I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with this Takisha. If you are an absolute beginner you may first need to work on more fundamental stitch formation and your yarn hold. Here's what I recommend: ua-cam.com/video/goE4xRYYkwk/v-deo.html. Wishing you all the best!
@@BonnieBayCrochet Thank you very much.
Thank you, Bonnie! Crocheting has been a quarantine life-saver for me and learning new techniques has been fun. I love this stitch, and your instruction is clear and easy to follow (especially for a left-hander)! I had to watch (and work along with) the beginning over and over until I was satisfied, constantly pausing to catch up, but it worked, and I'm part way through an adult sized blanket. Can't wait to see the finished product. I even bought some of the yarn you recommended for blankets for future grandchildren or someone! :-)
Julie Swidler that’s great! Welcome to the fun world of crocheting!
Hi there I have a question I made a granny square I'm lefthanded but my corners is pointy and it's not completely square, please can you tell me what I'm doing wrong, thanking you in advance and gave a good day
This may just be the nature of the continuous technique. You can try the more traditional technique here if you want a more perfect square: ua-cam.com/video/6D3-IVrZq1U/v-deo.html
@@BonnieBayCrochet thank you for the quick response much appreciated will try and get back to you. Does that mean I have to undo the hole granny square or just to the section wer the points is all still looking like a square 🙈
@@bernicenaudt6933 can you send me a photo of this area to bonniebay@me.com so I can take a look? Just want to see if something else is going on in the corners.😊
Such and easy , quick and fun pattern
I have a question can you use worsted weight yarn
You surely can Jessica! You will just need to complete more rounds to get the same measurements.
What am I doing wrong? I have 2 Cheerio holes
Hmmm...not sure Judith. You can always send a photo to me at bonniebay@me.com and I can take a look. If you know someone who crochets, they should be able to help you as well.
I just started my first continuous granny stitch but I’m loss on how to add another color? Please post a video . I started using a solid color yarn and want to change it but idk where or how to add it 😩
Hi there I would like to know if you can make the Granny square blanket very big and after a sertain size can one do a more solid pattern??
Love it
Thank you Bonnie, I have learnt a lot by watching your video. As I am a beginner I find you very easy to follow. I look forward to watching more of your videos. Also being left handed you made it much easier for me to follow.
Thank you Val! I make left-handed videos for all designs. 😊
The part at 9.24 keeps throwing me off and I get so far and it starts looking almost crooked but like I'm basically doing a spiral cause it's one direction only. And I'm not sure how to end 1 color and start a new color about 6 rows into it? If you have any tips please...
Here's a video on changing colors: ua-cam.com/video/lvxStfO2X6w/v-deo.html
Took me a few attempts, but I’ve got it going & it looks great. Thank you!
That’s wonderful Tabitha!😊
I think a video of it getting bigger after the time 9.24 because that's what keeps throwing me off that odd stitch and I've tried asking and I get told that odd stitch isnt right but no one knows 😪 if you have another video more in detail and showing the work flat so we can see how it evens out..?
Here is a more traditional method for the Granny Square: ua-cam.com/video/6D3-IVrZq1U/v-deo.html
@@BonnieBayCrochet well I can figure out the regular granny square it was your continuous one like this video that I want to do but the video confuses me at the time stamp I mentioned above.
Megan Peppers are you left handed? At that point in the video you work 3 double crochet into the turning chain, and the a corner (3 double crochet, chain 3, 3 double crochet) in next chain 2 corner space, and just continue around.
@@BonnieBayCrochet yes I am left handed,
Thank you for your awesome video
My pleasure Luella!
Thank you
This was helpful, but you went a little too fast for me. I tried to keep up, but had some big holes.
Sorry about that Gwen! You can always slow any video down by clicking on the little gear icon at the bottom right of the screen. Click and select a slower speed. I hope this helps!
