i have been journaling since 1996 and i still have all of my journals from then till now and i have seen how my journaling style has changed a lot and i like how i it do now, with pictures of my family, things i watched, like movies or tv shows that i like. i put newspaper clippings in my journal of things that are going on in the world. i put things from places that i went to or stores that i went to , junk mail, greeting cards from family things i ate and the packaging, fast food bags and things like that i put a lot of stickers and washi tape and just have fun. i love my journaling although i call my journals my Daily time capsule journal. it is just fun how i do my journal it took me while to find the type of style of journaling i do i write a lot i get excited to journal. when i do not feel like doing it or too tired i do it the next day when i have time to catch up on my journaling and just have fun with it
that must be so fun to look back on! to see how much you've changed or how little you've changed. waa 1996? that's so long ago you must have a ton of journals?? i like the idea of putting packaging in your journals, I have one of a candy I used to eat at a child and I recently found it again at the store and the packaging is completely different. I think it's important not to force yourself to journal cause then it just feels like a chore. thank you so much for sharing!
@@ThyPhan94 i agree with you i never force myself to journal i just do it when iam in the mood to do so and that way it is just more fun yes i have a lot of filled journals yeah packaging is always changing

Buying notebooks just because is being a guilty pleasure of mine... usually I do find a use for them... eventually. 😅
hahaha I feel you, sometimes when I see a pretty notebook i cant help but to buy it but then i think its too pretty to use

@@ThyPhan94 Tell me about it! Some years ago I bought a *beautiful* notebook in Waterstones, during one of their sales... I didn't use it because I couldn't decide what to put on it, and I lost it in a move. I never found one like it 😭
