I did something similar with a budget of 60$ with a Dell XPS X8700 (It has a I7 4790 32gb of ram that I found from a server, and no its not ECC and came with a GTX 745 a switch it for a GTX 690 that I got for 40$ and got a EVGA 500 watt for 20$) It was my main for almost 2 years did great.
This was an interesting video, but I do have a question as per why? Why would anyone build this PC? Is it really that bad with second hand market in Australia that people can't get some bare minimum pascal GPU like IDK 1060 with 6 gigs ?
I bought the GTX 570 last year for $25 just because it was cheap. You can buy a 1060 6gig for around 100 bucks here, but I only built this pc because my sister wanted to play Fortnite with keyboard and mouse. And I wouldn’t spend that much on her XD It works, and that’s all I cared about.
@@CeruleanBytes I wouldn't say 570 is a great choice for Fortnite since Ue5 doesn't seem to take kindly to anything below Maxwell or Pascal, you can even see in the video textures on the ground not properly rendering and having pixeled mess of random colors, it is fixed actually switching to performance API, which i guess has more of a legacy render mode? Also, you can choose what to install with the fortnite so it wouldn't be 100 gigs, most of it is probably high-res textures+ shaders cache for them
