15:40 I know chris mentioned voltage input issues from the utility company in certain areas, but this place shouldnt be affected because I see the substation in the background
Yes please do the mct video i have that same bag and would be interested to see how you set it up. Also I bet you got that leaf blower tip from chris-tina the weina cleana aka hvacr videos lol.
Pretty much same setup just larger. We did one a few months back on a chiller on top of a 4 story building. Coil weighs nothing but due to the reach we had to get a 60ton crane lol. At least York makes it easy to replace these with as leak prone as they are
Great video , But I cant have my guys watch this tho there going to want a crane too for a coil 😬lol ! We just carry them up . Good work tho p.s my merch shipped out today 👍
Great job. One comment tho, the shipping crate weighs more than that coil does, I always remove coil and carry it up ladder with one hand and I’m a skinny dude. But can’t lie, even if light and easy, if I had a crane I’d use it also. Ha. Have replaced three of those micro channel York coils now. Definitely dislike those units.
craig Mills dude not trying to sound tough. Promise those micro channel coils being all aluminum don’t weigh more than 50lbs. I carry compressors up ladders with one hand at least once a month during summer months. I hand them off to another guy when I get to the top. And those are pole ladders straight up and down. Given a cast iron isn’t happening but scrolls and bristols I carry up regularly and I’m not a big dude at all. 175lbs and 6’1. Tell me you can’t pickup a micro channel coil with one hand, if you can, then you can easily go up a ladder and use your legs to push up n get to next rung with other open hand. Not safest but definitely quickest.
Nothing. I use specific hoses and core tools but you shouldn't stress yourself out over your manifold being your only option. Especially since most of those nice hoses and extra tools come out of our pockets. Few companies pay for all that
Cristian - I completely agree. Using core removing tools and larger hoses will reduce the vacuum time substantially but it's not required as long as you have a decent set of gauges that aren't contaminated. I've been down 500 microns on a basic set of gauges with schraders installed. You're completely correct about the pricing too... I just picked up another 1/2" vacuum hose for $100!
Jose Sanchez Rodriguez - two things... 1) 500 micron is 500 microns. How you get there doesn’t really matter. 2)why did you subscribe to my UA-cam account? I don’t make content.
Very 👍 Good job
Even we almost dont change compresors...we change complete units..low energy units...those you fix...ejem..are high energy machines...

You are not carrying a microchannel coil from those big units up a ladder with one hand. It can be done up a ladder but not one handed. Calm yourself.

York's are just terrible
Please no more vacuuming with your manifold gauges. Teach the youth the right way. Great videos like always
What's wrong with evacuation through a manifold gauge?
