I have all 10 of Duke's Solids and I can say they are ALL good. It's REALLY hard to pick a number 1, but if I absolutely had to pick I think I'd vote for "Cedarwood". That being said, I'm set on cologne for probably 50 years. I'll have to leave these in my Will for someone.
I got the naval supremacy as a gift during 2019 and I've been using it since! I used to be an emt and worked 24hr shifts. I would get plenty of compliments from my partners, patients, and the ER nurses about how great I smell. I always keep 2 in my bag now, incase I forget one at home or just forget to buy a new one before it runs out.
Awesome! Yeah this is really a great product. I was unsure of it at first, but have grown to like it a lot, especially how practical and convenient it is. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I've been given a few of their soap bars as gifts, and the bloody knuckles hand cream. I was pleased with the smell of the soaps and the hand cream works as well as any for my cracking bloody knuckles/hands during winter. I've wondered about this stuff, thanks for the review!
You can use a few different types of items for this product. For example, a guitar pick, or the back side of a pocket comb, to shave off a little from the can. I like to guitar pick option since you can leave it in the can. Rub the product between your fingers to melt the beeswax then apply to the typical "cologne" spots; neck, wrists, etc. If you're going to carry it in a back pack, throw it in a zip lock just in case it does melt. If it does, you can always put it back in the can when it solidifies. Solid cologne is a great option for travelers too since it's below the TSA guidelines and as you said, you don't have to worry about a bottle breaking.
How Long would you Say it lasts? You Said a Few Hours, Few Hours Could Be 2 Or 3Hrs. But I Would Really Like to Know How Long It Lasts Vs Liquid Colognes that I Use.
You can definitely find them in stores (I know I have seem them in Target, Walmart and a number of specialty stores). They are online of course as well, but yeah I'd want to smell them first too! Thanks for checking out the review.
Ha! Thanks JB, kind of a random video, but figured I'd mix it up with a Sunday non-knife posting. Honestly, ended up liking this stuff more than I thought I would. Appreciate you watching brother!
Very cool. it's definitely a great way to have cologne with you in a more mess free way. The real question is how does the misses like it? Great review 👍
Hi! Very much appreciated the kind words and the support. Thanks for checking out the vid, hope to have some fun new content rolling out soon. Take care!
Wow this was different. I've seen this advertised on my man Dan Bongino's show but never thought I would see it on an EDC channel. Yes, packaging is very inovative... Very cool Brad. Thanks!
Yeah, definitely like their approach to supporting our Service members. Also agree they make a good and unique products. Thanks for checking out the review.
Cool product. Ive seen a lot of DuKe Cannon stuff at Love’s Travel Stops so I’ll keep an eye for this one in the future for sure. I would want to leave in vehicle but worry about it melting out of Tin.
Yeah, that was really my only concern with these things, I guess I'll find out when the warm weather returns. Not a bad product so far though and for $25, kinda cheap thrills. Thanks very much for watching the review and be well out there.
Really appreciate the kind words, makes my day! I am definitely working to get more content posted more regularly for you all and with some of these less formal reviews sprinkled in here and there. Thank you for the support!
I have the Land cologne and I love it. Think barbershop without the oakmoss. Very clean, very masculine, and not at all perfume-y. Have you ever had a pomade that smelled so go, you wished it was a cologne?; it's like that. It is more of a skin-scent. I like that no one who is over a foot away from me is going to smell it. I have a decanter of Creed Aventus and have NEVER received a compliment when I've worn it. In fact, I have (easily) $2000 of assorted fragrances and nothing gets compliments like this. I have just about concluded that men aren't supposed to smell like complex fragrances. This is simple, clean, undoubtable masculine and it is now what I wear.
I’m a bit of an enthusiast here. I like the samplers from Sephora where for about $65 you get 10-15 5mL vials of different scents and a voucher for a full size bottle of your favorite. I reuse the vials as travel decanters, and covers the issue of being able to make sure you get options for one you know you like.
That's a good question, unfortunately I don't really have an answer for you and I don't have a beard, but my sense would be it wouldn't be very good as a softener. Thanks for watching!
This was a surprising review, but welcome! Solid cologne rocks! Fulton and Roark have been doing it for a while and, while a bit more cost and a bit less quantity per tin, awesome scents. And you get a sampler pack to figure out which one you like. (I'm not affiliated, just a happy happy customer).
Hey, glad you liked the review. I appreciate you checking it out, especially since it's not the usual fare for the channel. No affiliation here either, I buy or borrow pretty much everything on the channel. I'll definitely take a look at Fulton & Roark, I like the sampler idea. Take care!
I got Grant (which from what I’m seeing is a renamed Fulton) last fall, really enjoy it. Also got the two Dr. Squatch colognes for Christmas, learned the hard way how much easier it is to over-apply dab-on (sandalwood bourbon smelled like leather on my first take)
That was a unique video. Hadn't heard or seen anything like that. I want you to know up front I am joking but no Orange tin or scent?? WAAA?? I am curious if it would survive in a bag not necessarily in the sun but outdoors. Would it become to solid in winter and melt in summer. Would it freeze if outside in winter?? Interesting idea first time hearing about it. Thanks for sharing this unique product and if you could do a follow up on how it lasts in a bag that would be very useful.
Hey, yeah that's interesting. I figured there were a lot of similar type products out there. I just came across these randomly and ended up liking them. Figured why not do a quick review. Ha! Thanks for checking it out man, hope you are doing well!
Thanks for checking out the review Matthew! Not the usual fare for the channel, but trying to mix it up... I promise no venturing into the canned seafood front though! Your channel is my go-to for Dines et al!

Thats good to know on the soap and hand cream, will need to check those out. Thabks very much for watching!! Be well.
Late to the game.. I just heard this existed yesterday. I love the portability and how easy it would be to toss in a backpack carry on for flights

If you like solid colognes, take a gander at Phoenix Shaving. They have a lot of scents and they are made in USA (Arizona).
Bourbon scent is my favorite!!!!!!
Good video, I got the Buffalo trace bourbon soap? Smells great! New subscriber. Thanks for the review!
Are they exclusively online or can they be found in stores? Maybe you got lucky with your find? I would like to smell them b4 buying
You can definitely find them in stores (I know I have seem them in Target, Walmart and a number of specialty stores). They are online of course as well, but yeah I'd want to smell them first too! Thanks for checking out the review.
