This compilation includes the only self-titled demo of the band from ’91 when they still played dark death metal, the infamous self titled EP from ’91 and 2 rehearsal-songs from ’92.
All carefully remastered for this DSR reissue by Patrick W. Engel at Temple of Disharmony.
Officially licensed from Immortal.
Available as 180g vinyl (ltd 666, 333 x black, 333 x white vinyl, 12-page 12“ booklet, A2 poster), jewel-case CD, MC and digital.

It's not Immortal's sh*ttiest demo, it's Immortal's only demo. And this release is official licensed from the band. We paid a lot of money for a good remaster. It's music-history and for collectors. You don't have to buy it!
that could maybe be said about the reaper records picture disc bootleg released a couple years back. but this release is really tastefully done. it almost makes up for the amateurish layout of the photo book that was included with Darkness Shall Rise's Dissection tape box set, where there were no margins on the inner edges resulting in tons of photos that spread across both pages to look horrible.
Abbath has stated he received no 💵 for this release and he's pissed.
