"wall of sound" is related to production while tremolo picking is a playing technique. in reality, it is easier to achieve a "wall of sound" with lots of tremolo riffs and blast beats. And by the way, this song has a lot of tremolo.and blast beats on it lol

Black metal has so many sub genres you shouldn’t have an issue finding the sound you want.
Check out "black gaze". Terrible genre name IMO, but that is what you are looking for. Agriculture, Bosse-de-Nage, Alcest, Deafheaven. Cheers.
