Lila and Skid have the most wholesome relationship ever. Even when she's upset with him for being friends with the "rat," she doesn't even chastise him. Skid defends his mom from all the monsters and things that show up and gets angry on her behalf even though he's always happy to the point of naivety. You don't often see both a good mom AND a good son in the same piece of media. Plus, look at all the photographs of the two in the background! So cute
