There are a lot of good Etrikes coming out, the biggest problem is a lot of them have zero customer service. Wish that would be included in your reviews. Keep up the good work.
Wish I could speak to customer service. I have not had this one long, nothing has broken, I haven't needed to contact them. My contact is with the marketing person, so far she has been great.
I've watched a few reviews & your the only one I have seen that talks about the add trailer design so far or the fact that it has blinkers! Thank you for sharing those feature! Is there a customer service number in case theres an issue with the trike?
I own this e-trike from mooncool. I love it!!! Before it I owned (and still have it) a manual trike from Scwhinn. However, I discovered that it is quite hard for me to even get on it. Im only 5 ft tall, It is too high for my shortish lower limbs and my feet cannot reach the pedals well. Do you have any solution like accessories for this issue!
I wish you would have addressed the orange plastic piece inserted inside the caliper on the front brakes. The packaging was topnotch.

The XP Trike and the Addmotor E310 were some of my top picks, this one might be working its way up there.

That came out of the same factory that makes the Lectric XP Trike. Prove me wrong. Other than suspension forks, what is better? The packing is the same but doesn't have all the yellow tags. I do like the plastic banding but how it arrives depends on how it was handled. Here is what to worry about. If that rear end is the same, and it sure looks like it, you have a chance that the axle bearings may be bad or go bad. How will this outfit handle that?
It could be the same factory, many brands use the same factory. But its a different frame, different axle, different motor, different components all together.
It's the same in the RV industry. There's only a few manufacturers for so many brands.
Another great unboxing. Dont feel bad Ive made that same mistake and did not notice the quick release tabs on the bottom of the box. I do like that copy cats are adding a front suspension.
I have a question for you: you do recycle all that material?

Ok, nice review. If you fold the trike can you roll the trike around for say moving around the garage for storage, or so that you can push it into the back of pickup, or suv?
Yes you can. Folding the front wheel back its almost parallel with the rear and makes it fairly easy to move.
These Chinese companies need help with their naming... Some of them don't translate that well
You are so right. I can't help but laugh at some of them. The name is a very important aspect for marketing. If the same is... "stupid", people are not likely to take their products seriously.

I appreciate everyone pushing and trying to help create a bigger market for all kinds of bikes trikes and the e variants.
Both this mooncool and the xp trike have their place... if one wants to carry less capacity but deal with the maintenance of a cheap front suspension (in the false hope of comfort) mooncool is a good choice. But if one wants the increased capacity, with less maintenance then xp trike is a better choice.
Agree, there is no perfect solution. There will always be trade-off's. Just comes down to each persons priority. But I disagree on the suspension. It does help and is nice to have. Its not needed on smooth surfaces, but I haven't found a pathway, sidewalk or bike lane that was always smooth.

How does it compare to the add motor e 310 does Mrs ad Adventure like it now she has a another trike to choose from which one will she be choosing city e310 moontrke or xp trike

Lectric trike xp. My brake disc is rusting from the dampness in the air. How can I clean it up? Is there anything to prevent rust once I get it cleaned up?

I wonder if you could fit 3" tires on the Lectric XP Trike? Mine came with 2.6" tires, not that much smaller. Sometimes wish my Lectric had gears, but the truth is my legs are almost useless, I really don't have the strength to pedal hard like I use to on a bicycle. And you're right, I don't like the backrest on my seat. Can't position my fat butt back far enough on the seat, probably going to get a new seat..
A few weeks ago in the Lectric facebook group, someone posted pictures of his modified XP Trike with 20X4 tires. I'm not sure what he needed to do, if anything. you may want to ask over there.
@@EbikeReviews I don't think the stock front fork would fit a 4" tire, probably need a new fork. But I'll wander over there and see what they have to say. Thanks!

Honestly, I don't have any experience with swapping tire sizes. On a Facebook group for Lectric bikes, someone modified the XP and put 20X4, and they upgraded the fork to a suspension for. So I know that can be done. @@jacobschwartz6721
If this costs the same as the Lectric, then you'd be a fool not to buy this one. It's quality shows thru even on the video. One observation, why couldn't they hide that one cable thru the frame as they did with the others?

I like it. But I hope it at least goes 20 miles an hour. 14 is a little too slow.😮
You have to realize it's target customer is an older person that needs to feel secure and that includes not going too fast which could make it easily tip over.

@@quintonhudson6490 Have you found any e trike that can go faster? I don't think they would be too safe, turning is the issue, you expect them to be stable at all times, but i have seen videos where they actually can tip over if they go too fast. I expect the over-reaching govt to enact some rules as e trikes become more popular.
The max speed is 16mph. I could only get it to 15.5 with my body weight. But its zippy, not sure what the torque rating is, the other one on their website is 85nm, so its possible I guess this is the same. But not sure yet.
@@EbikeReviews There are a few on the net that go up to 20 mph. Which happens to be the max speed allowed for e trikes. Till some crazy dude puts a 3,000 Watt motor there and turn it into a speed demon.

Would you like to correct your statement with facts, or shall I delete it? Its 48V 500w that peaks at 750. I'm not sure yet what the torque rating is but its more powerful that the lectric. I own both, I should know. www.mooncool.com/products/tk1-folding-electric-trike

Yeah, that has to be a mistake is what I'm thinking. I'll ask. It has good power, shoots right up my 3% driveway, where has another trike I had wouldn't go up it and it was a 65nm. @@jacobschwartz6721

Early assessment is that its a great trike for many reasons. The e310 has a bigger battery, and goes up to 20mph. But its more unstable. The Mooncool is more stable, but only has 15ah battery. It is powerful, but the E310 is a little more powerful I believe. Its very similar to Lectric in a lot of ways, but it has wider tires, blinkers, bigger rear light, you don't have to wake up the battery, very little shipping damage. @@jacobschwartz6721
